Not sure if this counts as internet checkpoint but I’ll treat it as such just in case. I’m in an uncertain point where I don’t know what to do with my living situation. I have friends that I can stay with but that will be short term. The housing in the area that I live in is expensive and I’m seriously considering moving out of the province. The only solid thing holding me back is the job I have right now, where I can only work here. I like what i do so i hope that i can eventually find the opportunity elsewhere. Maybe I’m overthinking it and I’ll find a place no problem once some of the BS blows over. It’s just that this city is absolutely ridiculous

Doing my checkpoint I got out of a abusive relationship of a year and I don’t know if I should try to trust again it’s been two years and the lock on my emotions have only gotten tighter I’ve moved on but I guess you could say I put all my eggs in one basket Ntm I can’t open up to people about what happened as quite a few people I know say men can’t be abused I just don’t know how to handle everything I’m slowly getting my shit together on every other front except for opening up and love and it just makes my life a bit infuriating seeing potential friends and lovers put off by my cold exterior I just want to smile with someone else again
Eventually someone will come along at a time when you’re ready to open up again, and even though they may not be “the one”, you’ll learn from the experience and become a better person overall. Until then, be patient, and keep living life because that’s all any of us can do
