Sorry to hear that you've been ill Elle 🤗 The wide strapped maxi will be stunning in the yellow linen, one of my favourite patterns from last year, looking forward to seeing what you make - & will be subscribing to your podcast too - don't know how I missed that!
Hi Elle, hope you're on the mend. I'm at home with covid watching. Love those gym shorts, very much like we'd wear in the 70's, if only I still had the figure for them 😁
The city gym shorts are a really fun, retro style. They're fun and quick to make and a great scrap buster. I've made them in knit and woven. They're a winner! Loving your bright fabrics and looking forward to the big reveal on the 31st!
@@elleandthestitches I didn't because I could always just adjust the length of the elastic, but I would probably have preferred to size up one size on the wovens. They're a little snugger than I'd like (especially on the linen pair I made-too much thickness with the bias bound edges).
I have made the purl soho shorts many times and love them! Yes, they are a retro style from the late 1970s and 1980s! We didn’t have roller blades then, but we had roller skates! They are super easy and addictive Elle!
You should definitely make the butterick pattern again- big 4 sizing is nothing like Indies so it can be tricky to go back to them after sewing Indies for a while.
On bless ya! Hope you’re feeling better now. I’ve made a couple of the wide strap maxi dresses. It’s a lush make. And you HAVE to make the Elliot top…can totally see you in that 😍
Hope you’re feeling better. I read somewhere that the fly zip for the Peppermint wide leg trousers is tricky. They said they used a separate fly zip tutorial and it worked out easier. They couldn’t remember which tutorial it was though
Funny I was gonna say do a yellow solid!! That color is gonna be wonderful on you
Can't wait to see what you choose to do in the end. Sunny, bright fabrics to lift your spirits as you recover.
Ahh yes bright fabrics are definitely lifting my spirit, thank you! x
Hi Ella, I'm new to your channel, I absolutely love that #sewfrugal22 has drawn me to your channel 😃 some great plans

Have you gotten the Minerva McCall’s pattern? It screams Elle.
