I test rode Tiger 800 XCX and had the same heating problem... It was a dealbreaker for me and I choose Kawasaki Versys 650 and saved lot of money at the end of the day.

Shaft driving reduces the efficiency, that's why they are used in high power bikes only. Best is belt drive & most convenient is chain drive..

Well that shaft drive is really appreciated. It can ride anywhere without having a chain clean and lube tension. It saved the time and maintenance of every 500km. But that shaft drive is heavy and really expensive thing. Power loss is also more in it. This bike vibrates a lot we can hear it and heat management is also poor.
Please review Ford Figo 2011-2015 diesel one, hope you haven't reviewed it yet....

in my opinion at 700 to 800cc segment of adventure bikes the tiger 800 range are the best but when it comes to 1200cc big boye nobody can beat the sheer brutal nature of an bmw r1250gsa
I don't know what you are doing, the bike is meant to be tested as adventure-->off road, not on tarmac testing speeds.....
The 1200gsa is just better in every way just a bit more expensive but very very very well worth it. That is the one. Hope to see it here soon
