I believe you installed the cover backwards. The opening on the cover should sit opposite to the opening you taped. Check your instructions again and make sure you sit the cover In the right direction. Love your videos.
Hello Thank you for taking the time. You do need to remove the Coleman metal plate that is on the supply side. You will have air leaks. (Noise) also the cover is install wrong, the slots need to be towards the rear on the rv.
See comment above. I already reversed the cover. Still same decibel readings. I like the cover over our stock one and the filter setup, but our noise level is still the same.
Thanks for watching. Not sure if I already got it as quiet as it will go because of the easy starts I installed. I like the look and functionality a lot more than the stock one. So that's a win.
In the description I stated I turned it around to the correct position. Still made no difference. What made the biggest difference was in July when I had to replace the fan motor. Runs quieter now.

Yeah, just saw that. Sqitxhed it up and retested the sound. Still the same. Womp womp. Thanks for watching! Appreciate the feedback.
Thanks for sharing and giving us your honest opinion. I do like the looks as well, but it does seem spendy for the slight reduction in db.
Thanks for watching. It's a way better look than our stock one, but I'd say 100 bucks less and they'd probably sell way more.

Thank you for the DIY. Agree, kinda expensive and not really any results

He put it on backwards. The new version is keyed so it only goes on the correct way.

Use a flash light to show us what you’re taping.
How's it working out?
Pretty good still.
