🤘I have always been Heavy Metal! 🤘As always great video. Love seeing Im not the only one that loses the biggest fish right at the boat. The Easy Shiner has always been a producer in cold water. You should talk about all the other swimbaits that are best in cold water. Thank you for all you do.
18:18 I fished Berryessa a few weeks ago. I had a great day having 9 on the kayak with 81”. But that one that broke off, on a bite I’ve never felt before, is the one I still think about…and shaking off.
nice vid, Tim! Looks very similar to the spoon bite here on Lanier right now. 😂 Lotta baits can work this time of year, but spoon and jig and solid one two punch. Merry Christmas!!
Easier to get your feet dry if/when they get wet. Normal shoes get wet and ruin your whole day, because they’ll never dry out. Sandals will dry out fairly quickly, as long as it’s not still raining. Certainly when it’s colder outside, dry = warmth. Lol
As you guys know (Matt and Tim) Tennessee just got hammered with rain last night. Can you do an on the water video like this, but on how you guys would tackle "Chocolate Milk" conditions?
What were the water temps, idk if i missed you talking about water conditions? Im over in north east NC/southeast VA and im getting my butt kicked😅my local lakes were 43-45 and i couldnt find a fish to save my life yesterday, i only saw one fish on the ffs and it was a 23” striper😂
@SW_OhioFinesseBandit I'm in SW ohio as well...couple weeks ago I was getting the largemouth really good, including a 7 lb...haven't had much of a chance since, with the crappy weather...u getting the smallies in the great miami?
@ I fish the GMR and tributaries. Jerkbaits have been the absolute deal here. Bright colors and 5-10sec pauses seem to be getting the most attention. I’ve been blasting them on a green top and pink bottom jerkbait sold by my buddy… Smallie Hunter Fishing Company. His baits are geared for our area.
Now Tim, if you want to make your videos an A+ you should think about revealing why/how you chose the spots you did. 😉 I find it odd in 23 minutes you never showed one shot of your graphs 🤔
@@WIDEawake419 they have a bunch of videos where they're describing structure, as shown on their graphs, as well as marking bait and what they're seeing. At the end of the vid, he tells about all the bottom structure he fished for nearly nothing and didn't capitalize on numbers until he found active fish on bait. I guess I (and thousands of others) just consider, and have considered TacticalBassin as the top-of-their-class bass fishing resource on TH-cam. All their content is A+ in most opinions, and one guy coming out and telling them how they could improve a video is odd. If you need a resource showing you what you're looking at when you're using your fish finder, TB has plenty of them. Most guys and gals who fish with electronics, know what they're looking at and what it's called when Matt or Tim say, "I was fishing long points and humps," or "deep ledges and channels" or "fishing suspended fish working bait." I don't think it's their job to cater any one video to some random dudes demands, they seem like they're doing pretty good all around.
Love the chestie! So nice to see how you work your lures! Thank you for sharing!
Thanks for watching!
Great job tim, I fish mainly for spots here in no cal, we love those little spoons, they catch alot of fish and they're fun. Thanks
Thanks Tim! I always struggle in the winter and I appreciate you sharing and helping me to become a better angler
Happy to help!
I like the chestie cam view 👍. Good addition.
Thanks 👍
That was a nice spot. I felt your pain when it came off.
Tim, great video! I have made a major investment in spoons in the last her. I am looking forward to using them this winter.
Glad to hear it! Spoons are a great choice for winter.

Nice job, Tim! Lakes here in WI are freezing up right about now. So I'm super jealous!
We're lucky to be able to fish all year round here!

Wintertime bib and flip flops!
I love how you wear winter gear with flip flops :)
Almost Always lol

Tim, you don't have to fish alone man. I'll come join you lol
77 degrees down in Central Florida today burrr it’s cold down here
Do a video on reasonable priced cold gear if possible please..
Always boat flipping 😂😂😂
Always 🤣🤦

Looks like you're a couple hours south of the chic this time ;)
Have you ever tried trimming the tail on a swim bait to slow the action?🤙🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻
Looks like the old Hopkins jigging spoon. Did War Eagle make a copy?
Nice video Tim! Do you consider that 10 lb leader important to getting that bite?
Getting a little gray hair I see lol. Wisdom 👍
Tim, can you use either of those spoons from shore?
Yes but the flutter style spoon will fall slower so your chance at getting hung up is less.

Net!!
I know! Totally forgot it
I'd kill for a day like that this time of year...ohio's nothing but tornado winds every freakin' day!
Been smashing them here in SW Ohio. Yesterday I tore the smallies up.

Is this Lanier?
Lake Norman?

He talked about why he chose those spots, he's working suspended fish on bait.
@ maybe you missed the part where I asked about graphs

If you haven’t figured out how to locate fish on a graph yet, nothing he has on his graphs is going to help you today.
@ who said I haven’t figured it out 🤔
What was the water temp? Idk if I missed it
I like the slightly more raw video.
Name the lake your fishing
The fem bots are thick in here first thing lol.
Always! Thanks for watching Brandon
@tacticalbassin Always wouldn't miss it .
Can you do a color line? Like where the muddy water meets clear water is that a good place to fish for bass?
Lake Sidney Lanier??
