I got SBBP and realized I'm just not a jack profile guy. The banana is cool but it just had an artificial plasticky mid palate that I can't get into. Cool bottles though

I have tried 10 and 12 in the bar also and both were $10-$12 for a double pour. I got multiple glasses and it was so good. I wish I could find bottles on the shelves.

Starts to feel like a JD marketing campaign instead of a review of a whiskey that might actually be available on the shelf somewhere. Also, I have yet to see this on a shelf anywhere lol.

When other massive distilleries can market their own 12 years or older age statement Whiskey for significantly less, it's nothing more than a cash grab. I'd wager you could find a mid-shelf Scotch, Bourbon, or another Whiskey that'd slap Jack Daniel's 12 and put it on the curb. Nothing to love here.
I mean unless youve had it that doesnt mean much. How its aged and blended matters. Normally im firmly a part of that most things are overpriced train but im not seeing that here really.
