The Gangplank Galleon theme is really exquisite, it might be the best final boss music of all time, it starts off like a light hearted goofy pirate chantey but morphs into a dramatically intense rock opera battle theme. It captures King K. Rool's personality as an unhinged madman.
Maybe they’ll commence an all out attack on the Kongs and force them into hiding, but then they regain their confidence and face off against K Rool for one final time

Mashups are supposed to be two disperate songs being combined by exploiting shared harmonic traits between the two. This is just multiple versions of the same song being layered and mixed, which by definition is not a mashup.
