Railroad & Economics-1: Pre Visit Lessons

Educators can gain insight into the Historical Society of Cheshire County's (Keene NH) "PRE-VISIT LESSONS" for its mini unit of study on the Railroads & Economics, for 3rd to 5th grade students. Pre-visit lessons introduce students to the evolution of transportation leading up to the coming of the railroad in Cheshire County, NH, and factors of production.
These lessons can be shared for free with educators requesting them from the historical society's director of education Jennifer Carroll at [e-mail], thanks to a 2021 grant from the Dewing Foundation.
