Railroad & Economics-2: Rail Trail Walking Tour

Following pre-visit lessons on railroads and economics, educators in Cheshire County can book a trip to the Historical Society of Cheshire County, 246 Main Street in Keene. Students will be guided on a tour of the Cheshire Rail Trail to learn more about railroad history and some of the businesses that succeeded as a result of the coming of the railroad.
This visit to HSCC costs $5/student for a 1.5-2 hour visit. Visits can be scheduled with the Society's director of education, Jennifer Carroll at [e-mail]. Ask about our transportation fund to help support the cost of busing students to the Historical Society!
