I had a bunch of wear items for that car, like brakes pads, filters belts etc. I got them from a parts buyout of a now defunked chevrolet dealership. Too bad i didn't keep them. I would of sent them to you for free. Good thing its the match up with Corolla, and they are super cheap. Nice score!
That things still going strong! The guy who has it ran it out of oil even said he forgot to check it. aha 😄 - Its still cruising around. It got phenomenal gas mileage 🫡
@CerebralAilment Those cars got around 50 miles per gallon on the highway. In 2007 - 2008 when gas got up to 4.70 You couldn't find one for sale. If you did. They wanted 10 grand for one. Crazy! I'll never forget that.
I have the same car, same condition aside from ac not working in it and having an oil leak, and I would not trade it for any other car because of how good the gas mileage is and how cheap parts are for it, plus it was my first car.
i have the same car .. dependable as hell ,, those door handles break all the time .. be careful in winter they break very easily.. keep your eye on the oil especially if you do a lot of high way driving they dont seem to like anything over 55 or they use oil .. other then that its a great little car and run forever

I had a 1989 prism, it was basically just a Corolla with a softer suspension. I’m surprised about the oil burning, from highway driving, that’s about all we used to do with ours. Our 2012 Subaru on the other hand……… Hey you look great with out the beard man, gonna get a job as a lawyer now? ;-)

That car I would love it reminded me a lot of my first car it was falling apart and had the foam head liner the would get all over the place.
A friend in highschool drove that model , even the same color but in a manual. Thing was reliable as hell and he ripped on it all the time

Yeah she used a qt on the way down I was surprised. Its definitely wound out at 65-70mph
