Android already has this by default, but I wouldn't recommend this method since now your personal recordings are on this companies servers if it is done this way.

Tell u something much simpler... If you want to start recording the person conversation just simply push speaker and then push video recorder as if you're recording a video and it will pick up your voice and the person on the other phone voice...try it

That's the thing with Apple. This is the easiest way to go around the restrictions. Is it ideal? No. Better than others? I think so.
