@@Literallyhim7 😀😀😂😀 what’s expensive about that? Haha, maybe by your budget not mine. What’s the point in paying so much for something that’s lacking in the most basic features of its generation
Thank you, never thought of plugging in a device into my headphones jack. My purpose for recording a conversation is strictly medical related. Often when discussing with my physicians what’s going on, it’s overwhelming and I struggle to retain it all so being able to replay it back as a review and even for questions I think up later is very useful. I don’t condone others that feel it’s neat or cool to secretly record others who are unaware for drama, bullying and extortion purposes so I’m glad you made it clear most states it’s illegal and even easier to be sued over in civil courts.
EXCELLENT VIDEO No nonsense answers. I used tape a call a while ago. I guess it’s back to that. BTW, the best and FREE mobile office? Your car in a McD’s parking lot. Quiet, food, coffee, washrooms & EVERYWHERE. Scoffing? I made A LOT of money flipping houses that way. Starting back up again now after illness. Thanks!
"Federal law permits recording telephone calls and in-person conversations with the consent of at least one of the parties. See 18 U.S.C. 2511(2)(d). This is called a "one-party consent" law. Under a one-party consent law, you can record a phone call or conversation so long as you are a party to the conversation."
One party consent is applicable in Canada as well. "According to the Criminal Code of Canada, you can record a phone call as long as at least one person in the conversation is aware that the recording is taking place. This is known as the “one-party notification.” This means that the person doing the recording has to be taking part in the conversation."
Damn, my 180$ xiaomi does this automatically out of the box. I would love to switch to iphone someday, but this is holding me back. That just does not make sense, after all, data received by my phone are mine and I should be able to access it if desired.
Thank you thug life for your comment on this, it saved me alot of trouble of finding out you have to pay for most of these apps, ijust wanted to do a simple BASIC voice record or Phone call record recall. That's it!!! Lol
Thank you for this thorough explanation and recommended methods/apps to record a call on an iPhone. As a freelance writer, it's helpful to be able to record conversations for later transcription--with the interviewee's knowledge, of course.
Sucked? No they work flawlessly. No Notes is the best of them all just to cover your own ass. Do you expect shit for free? If yes, you dont belong to be living in this life. Free shit is overrated lollll
2020 and Apple still hasn't got a built-in call recorder, Samsung has had this since the S6
Even oppo👩🦯
Go and use Samsung, nobody invited you here
@@Literallyhim7 haha, hurts your feelings doesn’t it? Haha, i do use samsung i will never trade that.
Don’t hurt feelings but I love expensive things and hate people who judges it
No hate bruh😍

The last option is not true, when you call yourself ask you to put your password in order to listen to your voice message..

3:36 Check your state laws. It may not be necessary to advise the other person that you are recording the conversation.
"Federal law permits recording telephone calls and in-person conversations with the consent of at least one of the parties. See 18 U.S.C. 2511(2)(d). This is called a "one-party consent" law. @RedaSkateboard this thread is about something inside the USA.. read.. dkh
Each state may have their own laws. Some states require two-party consent. Don't get blindsided by thinking you're covered by just Federal law.
RedaSkateboard Okay so since you want every country and every law listed here why don’t YOU provide that information? Hm?
One party consent is applicable in Canada as well. "According to the Criminal Code of Canada, you can record a phone call as long as at least one person in the conversation is aware that the recording is taking place. Jessica, this is an awesome video. Super helpful!!!
Glad we could help, Samantha!
Jessica, that voicemail trick was so awesome
Yes, but the size of voicemail box is limited for most carriers, so you won't be able to record a long conversation.
Tape a call makes you merge. I don’t want this. Which app runs without having to merge calls as you can miss part of the call when you merge.
Hey jessica your videos are very useful thank you for your videos much love and all the best for your upcoming videos 😁
Thank you so much!
When I call my own phone number ,the user show busy
Mine too
Same here ... did u find any solution for that
Same here
good job. useful. ty
Add Call doesn't work for most carriers, because the call to oneself goes to retrieve voicemail.
How about pressing a video? The conversation will be recorded.
the third way does not work. it won't record voice message, it only tells me how many voice messages I have when I call my self.
Can you please provide the link of apps because they are not available on app stoe
does the third method give any signal to the person who calls you?
thanks
You're welcome!
Failed using Voicemail

Hey Jessica, I’m trying to record a conversation discreetly. Will method three allow the other person to hear my conversation?
So the title should say 2 methods for your iphone and 1 external method
Other than that, good video and great tip with vm 👍🏻
Thank you - explained the options beautifully
You're welcome!

Useless apps as they all have to call a number and must use merge call to use
Hey NSA: Recording phone calls without permission is illegal
I tried those apps and it sucked. Because it said I had to pay those stupid apps
Sucked? No they work flawlessly. No Notes is the best of them all just to cover your own ass. Do you expect shit for free? If yes, you dont belong to be living in this life. Free shit is overrated lollll

Does this actually work?
Sure does!
Depends on country. Some Apps do not work.
The easiest way is to put it on speakerphone and then open up the camera app and set it to video and press record
No video option does not appear in camera
paying sounds like bs
doesn't work👎
