You really should consider writing a kids book called "Where are Mr. Brown's shoes?" A story of a little boy who lives on a farm. I don't hav little kids but I would sure buy it!
I used to tell people that "I have this friend in North Carolina who homesteads". Now I can say "I know this guy who lives with his chickens.". Loved every minute of this. Best line (after chicken pecks Justin): "Hey, I'm one of you now!"

You and your family members are hilarious, absolutely comedic! The soft clucking sounds the chickens make is really comforting. Now, on the other hand, the sounds of the goose and rooster, are much less a favorite. Figured there was a purpose to his presence. Honestly, i had no ides what chickens did after dark, just learning. Love, that your chickens help with getting their greens growing, makes so much sense! It's the great friends that support you and the awesome family that hangs with you that catapults you to that desired level of results. All involved enjoys the fun regardless of the incredulity. Loved it! I know it’s hard to just stop and admire the work your animals do, but sometimes you need to! I spend a few minutes every evening with my chickens....they love it and so do I!
