Today, we’re going to talk about the early warning signs of appendicitis.
Do you need the appendix? Isn’t it just an extra organ? Yes, you need your appendix. It actually serves a very important purpose. It’s there to help you replenish the good bacteria you lose when you have a gut infection or diarrhea.
    The early signs of appendicitis:
    • Nausea
    • Sudden pain in your lower right abdomen
    • Bowel changes (diarrhea or constipation)
    • Pain around the belly butting
    • Low-grade fever
    How to help prevent appendicitis:
    • Get enough probiotics
    • Get enough fiber (vegetables)
    • Cut down your sugar
    • Garlic
    • Thyme
    • Rosemary
    • Onion
    • Oregano
    • Radish
    • Apple cider vinegar
    • Fasting

Two decades ago i suddenly got a horrible stomach pain. By that time i was already quite a rebel what it comes to health.. so i treated myself with a water enema and an incredible amount of wheat grass juice. The pain anyway was quite intense and i did end up going to er. The doctor diagnosed me witj appendicitis and sent me to see a surgeon. By the time i faced the surgeon my pain had become much less, so i just said to the surgeon that "i dont think u gonna cut me open, good bye" 😂 so i left and till today my appendix have been just fine. 😋

I had appendicitis back in November. Pain was more of a cramping sensation. Mine was slightly perforated but they treated it with antibiotics. I began thinking about how prior I was so bloated for months, all summer and autumn. My father mentioned three times to me to stop taking my 100 percent grass fed whey protein powder. First time thought nothing of it. Then, After the appendicitis started , started taking the shakes again and that awful bloating and indigestion came back. Now I have completely removed protein powder from my diet and have incorporated probiotics. Digestions feel back to 75-80 percent again.

I had a bad diet as a kid so I had mine removed when I was 7. I didn't feel well one October night in 1985 so my mom made chicken noodle soup and she sent me to bed at 8. By 10 I was up and extremely sick. She made me sit on the toilet and wrapped a blanket around me because I was sweating AND shivering at the same time. Nothing happened so she put me in the car and I threw up. I had emergency surgery an hour later. They had started doing what they call "bikini cuts" which is when they cut horizontally as opposed to vertically, so one day I could wear a bikini and not have my scar show. They must have had an intern do the incision because it is about 3mm" thick by 4"long and the thickness is not consistent the whole length. It looks like I was used for organ harvesting and sewn back up. To this day it remains sensitive to the touch and gets irritated by clothing. My health has never been great. I have awful digestive/GI issues and was diagnosed with and medicated for ADD by age 14. It never sounded right to me that there would be an organ we "didn't need". Why would God design us with something if we didn't need it? Moral of the story is you have to eat well to prevent the appendix from getting to the point where you need it removed. I am very careful with my own son's diet.

About eight years ago, I had a serious mouth injury (an unfortunate run-in with the handle of a baseball bat), and my upper maxilla was broken, damaging the root of one of my front teeth. It got infected quickly and required a medicated root canal to save the tooth, and just one week later my appendix ruptured (although I went around in pain for a week afterward before the doc figured out what was wrong). Anyway, I always thought that the bacterial load from the infected tooth likely caused the appendicitis, but no doctor agreed with me. But from what Dr. Berg says about bacteria and the gut, I think I might have been right. ;)

Mine burst 20 years ago, 5am on Christmas morning. For some reason, they didn't triage me at hospital (Burnley General - Lancashire UK) I didn't go into surgery until 7.30pm!!!!!! I nearly died. Two weeks later I was told that a carcinoid tumour had nibbled its way through the wall of my appendix. They wanted to send me home with no further tests !!!! I had to fight for several weeks to get further testing done, to be sure there were no more (can occur in groups) and have my liver checked for secondaries. The surgeon, who removed my appendix, called me in for an appointment just to tell me off for daring to question his judgement. I asked if he would be stood at the foot of my hospital bed apologising if i ended up with mets. He approved the tests, but died of bowel cancer himself a few years later.

Hi. I just read your comment and find it really interesting. I hope you can still answer it fast.
Since this morning, Nov 2, 2020, I'm currently getting lower abdominal pain (just little pain and discomfort when you press the spot, not so hurt like dr berg was experiencing). I got 36.9°C temperature checked via orally with Microlife temperature device. Not so fever by temperature, but I feel little cold and chill since the night I ate, until now.
Yesterday night, I cheat and ate fried foods and spicy chilis because it was my birthday. I'm so regretful right now and want to fix this problem.
I haven't checked to hospital yet because I'm afraid that the doctor just jump to claim that it's appendicitis and need to do surgery ASAP.
My diet when I'm in normal day was vegetable broccoli, but I'm drinking Yakult as probiotic source. I guess Yakult isn't good anymore because many bacteria may be pasteurized.
I'm currently waiting for my kombucha and cauliflower to arrive. I'm also drinking garlic juice with lime, turmeric with little black pepper, and cut all sugar and eat really little carb with protein from locally farmed eggs.
Can I survive and be healthy again with those things that I will do? Can anyone please share the story for dealing with symptoms of appendicitis?
Any person that answer my question will be much appreciated. I hope anyone can reply my comment asap. Thank you so much for your attention.

You know Doc on and off for awhile now, i have been feeling mild, and sometimes sharp pain around my belly button and appendix abdominal area. The pain only last for around 5 to 10 minutes, however whenever it does occurs, it feels like I'm getting stabbed or scratch with a thin ice pick, when i gently press down on my belly button and appendix.
It use to come and go randomly throughout the month, however thanks to the Turmeric powder tablets i been taking daily, it's happening less frequently. Oh I've also have cut down on my sugar consumption, that also seemed to help somewhat as well.
Anyhow, Thanks for the info Doc, and God bless.

Hope u load up on Rosemary that only kills bad bacteria. He also mentioned good lactic acid foods and coated probiotics that make it to large intestines. I argued with er dr 3 wks ago not to take mine but allow me antibiotics sent home b/c mine was acute at age 57 & pain/nausea was lessening, i would return if not better with a.b's. Ive read in older adults treatment in acute cases does work. They insisted it could kill me & insurance wouldnt pay if i left then had 2 return. I wished id left & tried to save it even if i had detrimental consequences. Take care study up if u r older itz usually acute & hopefully a preventable surg. Chlorophil may help too. Good luck

Now I’m trying to understand what brought this on at the age of 51. Was it lack of fiber? Should I have been supplementing with probiotics? I still get issues around my gallbladder area too. The ER was so busy that I didn't get my diagnosis until 3 a.m. Oct. 31, 2019 and I got there around 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 30, 2019. By that time my appendix was leaking. Hi Dr. Berg, love your content! I am wondering how to help my brother. May 2nd, he had appendicitis(official diagnosis is perforated appendix), but was misdiagnosed with constipation and dehydration, and went into the hospital with sepsis a week later. They didn't perform appendectomy because of the raging infection in his blood for which they administered a cocktail of antibiotics. When they released him, they had put a stint in his abdomen to drain the fluid the appendix had leaked for two weeks. He is now 2 weeks post stint removal and they are dragging their feet on any pet scans and or follow-ups.
Is there a chance the appendix will heal after it's perforated? If so, what can he do to help facilitate the healing?

kaxitaksi in that area, technically your liver doesn’t have feeling, it is pressure from its inflammation pressing against other things. Besides the pain is from gas, the gas from too much fermentation of undigested carb. That is what sibo does.

    • @drakiana8717
      @drakiana8717 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

kaxitaksi sibo is in your small intestines. I wouldn’t trust anything a doctor says, but that is me. And because you no longer have the microbe factory God gave, it makes it easier to have intestinal problems, IBD, colitis, ulcerative colitis, diverticulitis, and so on. So it is easier to end up with sibo.

As for gallbladder, I had mine removed 10 yrs after an infection. I didn't know better and was short on time, had stones and a horrible infection. Was jaundiced and crippled over in pain. Will always regret it...and will never forget the doctor brag to me how many gbladders he removed everyday. Just shocking and distrubing.
Have since met other to have had theirs removed and have only suffered in one from or another with digestive and related issues. I would be too had I followed doc orders post surgery. Luckily, I knew better.
