Another beautiful campground. The beaches look nice and there was enough space to put your boat into the water. Montreal isn't too far. When you camp, the weather becomes more important... nice walk
Voyageur Provincial Park looks amazing! I love how you captured the beauty of the park and the surrounding areas. Your video made me want to add it to my travel list! Looking forward to seeing more adventures. 😊
We are so close to this park but have never gone to it. Thanks for the video. We are going there soon. We tend to go to back country spots but also car camp. Your review and camping with the coles is also helpful. Glad you include information for all types of campers. If you are in the Ottawa area Gatineau Park is nice Lac Philippe and Lac Taylor are together. It is a nice park abd the trails are great. With a fun cave to explore. About 400 meters. The Lake is named after some of my ancestors.
Glad the video could be helpful! We really enjoyed this park. I'll have to look into Gatineau Park and the lakes there, I'm sure it's a beautiful area.
Just found your channel. We stayed there last year on our way to the gaspe bay. Toured gaspe bay and stayed at voyager park on the way home. We have a Lance truck camper. Unfortunately our truck got written off in an accident in February so had to buy a new truck. We want try out more spots in Ontario. We are newbies to camping. Your videos are a valuable resource thankyou.
Sorry to hear about your truck! I hear gaspe bay area is quite nice. Glad the videos can be helpful, we are fairly new to camping too, just started in 2022 and there are so many great spots in Ontario to check out. Happy camping!
Voyageur is our family go to annual campground! We have been going there for years! We always go in Champlain, first for the nice amenities and second for the private beach that only campers can use. Dog are also allowed on that beach in Champlain, they are not allowed on the bigger beach (public beach), which is a plus for us! I recommend trying Champlain next time, you will get a complete different experience than portage.
Oh thanks for the tip! I wanted to try Champlain this time, but didn't manage to get the site I was going for and snagged one in Portage instead. There are a few water view sites that looked pretty nice there, so I will have to try again in a future season!
Another fantastic review. I'm torn about a camper van. I think it's great to have for a cross country trip but, I feel like there are quite a few steps to setting yourself up. Does it just become like second nature? Also I'd love to hear someday about learning curves and mistakes y'all made early on that helped you become the camper masters you have become.
Haha I wouldn't say we are camper masters - but we have learned a lot in the last couple of years! Great idea for a future video. It's actually really easy to set up when it's all contained. You really just need to worry about getting it level, putting your chocks down so it doesn't roll, and hooking up to the electrical pedestal.
Yep we made walking tacos. Crush your Doritos, add taco meat, shredded cheese, onions, diced tomatoes, hot sauce, and sour cream - or whatever taco toppings you like.
Hello camping friend! I love camping and exploring. Thank you for the nice informative video and the beautiful scenery. Well done. 👍🏻😊
Hello!! Thanks for watching 🙌
Great tour of Voyageur Provincial Park. I have been there many times - love it!

Yes the weather is definitely important to pay attention to when camping - even in a trailer.
Thanks for another nice detailed camping video and nice trails. Campsite was very big and private.
Yes it was a great site. Thanks for watching!
Looks like a great campsite, love all the greenery that you get here
It was a great campsite 👌

You both make amazing videos. You both are the best team. I really enjoy your you tube videos
@@jontooke846 thanks so much!
It looks like a nice campground. It would be so nice to be able to go into the city and then be out into the wilderness within a short period of time.
We like a bit of both - nature and city.
You might have convinced us to travel to that part of Canada on holiday. I am from New Zealand
It's a great spot!! Especially if you go into Montreal. 👌 Plus lots of beautiful scenery and water in this area.
Looks beautiful! Any black bears in the park?
None that we saw or heard about during our stay, but always be bear ready!

I will say that beer flight looked amazing. Also the trails are well maintained.

Great, you pass our site #33. Champlain
Were you camping there that weekend?
@@TheAverageTourist yes we were. We’re there for the saison, every weekend and more, 🥰
What did you put in with your Doritos bag? Looks like taco salad?
Yep we made walking tacos. Crush your Doritos, add taco meat, shredded cheese, onions, diced tomatoes, hot sauce, and sour cream - or whatever taco toppings you like.
@@TheAverageTourist Sounds good. We'll try it next time we go camping.
@Frizzik enjoy!!
Have you gone to long sault?
No haven't heard of that one. Is it a conservation area?
@@TheAverageTourist I don’t think so, we always camp there in my younger years
What time of the year did you go?
We were there at the end of June into the Canada day long weekend
