  • Guys, equipment REALLY matters!!
    -
This video for at least most people is going to cover ALL of your equipment questions you have!
    -
I get asked what I use CONSTANTLY, so I thought I’d clear the air for you because…
    -
I realised why everyone (myself and top level professionals included) is always scrambling for the best possible equipment!
    -
There is no finding “the one” setup that is your true love!
    -
There are many many possible setups that will work for you!
    -
Sure, go ahead and try different things and see if another different blade and/or racket or degree of hardness suits you better or not!
    -
Equipment REALLY does matter! When people say “yeah but Ma long will beat you with a frying pan”
    -
That comment has to be the most uneducated comment of all!
    -
Most people watching this video will be at a pretty good level and can’t play a good solid backhand, forehand and serve.
    -
I’m gonna ask you this… “if you were to play against your family members and friends that don’t play table tennis, do you think it matters whether you have your own bat or a $2 bat?”
    -
    I rest my case!
    -
Equipment, nets and edges, etc all the 1% percenters matter HEAPS, when playing against others that are your level range (slightly better, same or slightly lower level) when you could win or lose on any given day against them!
    -
We all know winning/losing a match can come down to ONE point! ONE f******* point man!
    -
So if you think equipment doesn’t matter and your justification is “ma long would beat you with this thing anyway”, you’re wrong!
    -
Sure, improving your skills and jumping your game to higher levels is by far the best and most important thing you could do for yourself, NO doubt about that!
    -
This brings me to another important point!
    -
In way more cases than not, players are searching for better equipment in an attempt to improve their game!
    -
Logically speaking, you already know why this mindset is wrong, right?
    -
Again, equipment will ONLY matter to you within your skill “level range” that I discussed earlier.
    -
If you want to be as good as players that are currently out of your range/league, you need to improve your skills bro!

Have you had a chance to try the DHS W968? I'm sure as a DHS sponsored player you could easily get one!

The before year i was used neo h3 37° national for my backhand. I can block with a medium speed and my hit are wonderfull, but sametimes i havent strong for hit and ....you know. I supose that i need more Booster.
Maybe, do h8 help me with the rebounce and speed in the situations which i havent more strong for hit with the arm?
I test dignics09c and i LOVE for the moment except the throw angle

Amazing Video, could you tell if this is a good setup for offensive player.
    Blade: Nittaku Violin FL
FH: DHS Hurricane 3 Neo (2.2)
BH: Yasaka Rakza 7 (max) [I might change my backhand rubber to something more harder as this is a very soft rubber now that I play with dhs neo mostly maybe you could recommend about it too :) ]
I have switched grip style from shakehand to penhold I go back n forth but right now I am just trying learn penhold, I know FL blade isn't the best for penhold(sadly while making the blade I never thought about it, I saw some Chinese Penhold Players(Ma Lin, Xu Xin, Wang Hao and many more) and was so intriuged by there style of playstlye, I just wanted to try it out as fun and m hooked with it, have been playing with penhold for over 3-4months now and I have seen a lot of improvment.)
Would love to hear from you thanks for this video again~.

the at 7:38 is most definitely not "glue", though it may be sticky... There is no other way and besides ITTF regulations, nobody sees anything wrong with it :D

@@dyfferent9883 Imo I think it looks like yellow or clear haifu oil spread directly on to the rubber
