Very nice! Hope you post more content about tactics, like how to find the best tactics for oneself, or how to find good tactics against a new opponent. Thanks
What baffles me is that the serves ma long, fan zhendong and darko jorgic does are spinning in the direction so that the balls would bounce towards their weak side. Maybe there is a paradigm shift in the way local low level players play and the way pros play in that the pros go against the spin in their serve receives and non-pro players just try to push the serve softly so the spin wont affect is that much.
Ma long serves clockwise sidespin so he can stand at the pivot position without worrying that the ball may go too wide to the forehand and Darko Jorgic and Fan Zhendong serve counterclockwise sidespin so they can hit a backhand closer to the forehand position. They try and hit these shots because the spin that's on the ball usually allows them to hit super wide balls
@@moonlightyegui6904 this comment did nothomg to help me understand. Darko Jorgic serves a spin that a neutral racket would return to the forehand side. Ma Long serves a serve that a neutral racket would return to the backhand side.
@@z0uLess They want the ball to come closer to their weaker side so they can play with their stronger side on a larger area of the table and not worry that the ball will go wide to the opposite direction.
@z0uLess If Darko wants to play a backhand very badly, he can almost make sure that he can play one by having the ball come to his forehand side where he is already positioned. This works because by serving counterclockwise sidespin to the rightie's forehand, he can reduce the chance that the ball will go wide to his left and thus stay closer to the right corner so he covers most of the possible locations for the return with his backhand
You are a great table tennis athlete.
