    Thanks Heming I agree with the videos, I do indeed record my VR matches when I can. Here's a short clip if you do have a spare 15seconds (I'm "bakabill") th-cam.com/users/clipUgkxb6U4qzqbjuBhrjyV166xnJKzyUwaOp0P You've given me some food for thought - specifically that having a strong forehand doesn't mean they're strong on all forehands, there's the deep wide forehand, deep elbow jammed forehand and the half long forehand at wide or jammed. I used to just think ok the forehand is strong, avoid that half of the table altogether, but you've opened my mind to breaking down the forehand half of the table into smaller segments. I will also take onboard your mentality tips on avoiding telling yourself "what not to do" and just tell yourself on positive things to focus on doing!

    I have watched a few of your videos today and I think you have really good tips. After this vid I want to offer some advice. This is a short video and its good how you restate your point multiple times to make it stick. But, as a teacher - I also do the same thing - I notice when you restate the main point, you introduce new concepts, or different names for the same concept, and it is a bit confusing. For example, the bit about "solutions mindset is really clear" and then 15 seconds later you are referring to the same thing as an attitude of "working through it" (I am thinking is this the same thing or a different thing? It's the same thing! so call it the same thing!). Later you added an example of a contact lens not in properly. Lol, what a specific situation! But it's different to the examples earlier and kinda information overload for me. Not meaning to be negative. I hope my comment can help. Keep it simple and consistent! And keep up the good work!

    This is exactly right! You have to BELIEVE. Believe in your skills and believe you can win. I have lost many games against "better" players because I didn't believe. I can exactly remember that that were the thoughts in my mind. You probably have to be arrogant in your own mind.

    This is the BEST forehand video I have seen and I have seen a lot of them. My forehands always go out, and they have been doing this for years. I have a decent backhand, and when, in a rally, I have a kill shot for the forehand, out she goes. My arm is moving as prescribed, but my lack of wrist work, means that my shoulder comes around too much. Using the wrist like this gives you the correct follow through as it is the wrist bending at impact that brings you around. The right shoulder does not come around so much. I have tried a forehand where I hold my right shoulder back during the hit. Although I finally do feel the dwell there is no power as I am not going through the shot properly. So picked up my bat and hit just as he suggests. This is a revelation. This is GOLD! Wow! Glad I stumbled on this GEM! Now I can give it the lot. Thank You!

    What baffles me is that the serves ma long, fan zhendong and darko jorgic does are spinning in the direction so that the balls would bounce towards their weak side. Maybe there is a paradigm shift in the way local low level players play and the way pros play in that the pros go against the spin in their serve receives and non-pro players just try to push the serve softly so the spin wont affect is that much.

    • @moonlightyegui6904
      @moonlightyegui6904 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Ma long serves clockwise sidespin so he can stand at the pivot position without worrying that the ball may go too wide to the forehand and Darko Jorgic and Fan Zhendong serve counterclockwise sidespin so they can hit a backhand closer to the forehand position. They try and hit these shots because the spin that's on the ball usually allows them to hit super wide balls

    • @z0uLess
      @z0uLess หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@moonlightyegui6904 this comment did nothomg to help me understand. Darko Jorgic serves a spin that a neutral racket would return to the forehand side. Ma Long serves a serve that a neutral racket would return to the backhand side.

    • @moonlightyegui6904
      @moonlightyegui6904 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@z0uLess They want the ball to come closer to their weaker side so they can play with their stronger side on a larger area of the table and not worry that the ball will go wide to the opposite direction.

    • @moonlightyegui6904
      @moonlightyegui6904 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @z0uLess If Darko wants to play a backhand very badly, he can almost make sure that he can play one by having the ball come to his forehand side where he is already positioned. This works because by serving counterclockwise sidespin to the rightie's forehand, he can reduce the chance that the ball will go wide to his left and thus stay closer to the right corner so he covers most of the possible locations for the return with his backhand
