    I've had this exact same Chromebook since April. Simply put, it has been a perfect machine for work. If you approach this laptop with a productivity-first attitude, its quality shines through. Connectivity, workspace, and even mild Linux tinkering has been really pleasant, and when you consider how much of a backseat aesthetics take at this price point, this one really stands out. I definitely do not regret this purchase :D

      I'm starting a new job soon that involves voip calls, you mentioned using this for work, so does it handle well for that? Does your job require you to use any complex systems on it?

    • @yebii_
      @yebii_ 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@EvanescenceDisturbed that depends on the software used by your employer. If the program requires Windows OS, then you'd have to use something else. In a previous job though, I did use voip through a browser, so it technically would have worked for that specific application. Most of this type of work usually send equipment to the employees though - I'm kinda curious about that.

    I saw this one for $250 at Walmart, but ended buying the chromeboook 4 11,6 screen for $200 which was very solid on the keyboard compared to the 15,6 4+ .
    The 11,6" didn't have any flex on the keyboard or wobble on the screen just very solid build quality. I think i made the right choice for my 6y old grandson.Thanks for the great review sir.

    I've had this model for about a month and really like it. Sure, the screen could be brighter, but for $300 I'm not complaining. I've had zero issues, and have really enjoyed it. I feel the quality for the price is on point.

    I have the 11.6 version of this CB and it is, for the money, a very, very good computer. The screen blows and the top is plastic on mine (which scratches if the wind blows hard), but it is snappy and works great for what I need. I think Samsung deserves a little more kudos for doing a solid CB in the 4.

    Maybe I'm brand biased but I never think of anything Samsung makes as "cheap". I only recently got my 1st CB. Always windows laptops. I did what rearch I could and ended up getting a new open box Acer spin 15 CP315-1H-P8QY. It's a 2 in 1 design. FHD display. Backlit keyboard etc I paid 350 brand new. I thought it was a decent quality one. I'm just not 100% sure the deal was fair. I think so. I'm happy with it anyway and that counts.

Love the channel and continued success!

    (One of the main complaints about this was that their lighting advertisement was a lie. But I'm completely fine with it, I'm ok with moving my head a few degrees to get the full contrast because it's not that hard. Do i think that the lighting display could be a bit better? yes. but its not horrible, and one thing that has to do with it is the lighting of the video or show your watching)
    other then that here are some awesome things about the Samsung Chromebook 4+
    -the keyboard feels decent
    - you get some games that wouldn't normally be free, for free in the google play store
    -there are charging slots ON EACH SIDE :D i hate when you have to wrap your charger around it (which can easily break your charger)
    -its fairly cheap- (in my opinion) considering how much more expensive other computers (that arnt even THAT much better) are
    -it has a very big screen which i think is a huge win
    -even if you prefer to have like 200GB of storage, 32 GB is still very decent unless your planning to overload your computer with tons of photos, there is plenty of storage. and to save some storage instead of downloading apps like spotify, or netflix, or hulu. you could just go to the website
    - the battery (if it's full) lasts anywhere from 6 to 7 hours . Even if you don't think that it's enough, you can use it while it's charging which is also very very good
    - even though the speakers are under it (which could mute a bit of the volume) it still has decent volume, and unless your planning to put your chromebook on a far away table so that lots of people can see it, the volume is very decent
    -It has a headphone plug (not all things have one) . I do recommend using headphones or earbuds over not using headphones or earbuds (I prefer headphones over earbuds
    And now some bad things
    - fair warning, if you bought this to play video games on, this isn't a gaming computer, there are some games that you can use though.
    -doesn't have the greatest webcam. Now, even if it had a really good quality camera... I feel like taking pictures with a computer wouldn't be the best choice, because it's very heavy, and obviously there is no camera in the back of the computer
    -bad trackpad. Now when it comes to my opinions, I HATE track-pads, I hate the clicking sounds, the feel of it, and how hard it is to drag. So there is a chance that this trackpad is perfect and amazing, I just am not a fan of track-pads (and i really recommend a mouse)
    -Screen. after I broke my tablet screen and had to pay a lot of money to get it fixed, i'm scared of cracking any other screens and this chromebook feels like one good drop would damage it. also i am not a huge fan of the screen (it doesn't really matter to me) but with apple computers, the screen is shiny, and clean, and smooth and clear. this screen is kinda foggy and not smooth, and it doesn't feel grainy but it kinda looks grainy looking not gonna lie
    Its worth it.

    • @JoshWitte
      @JoshWitte 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You definitely want something with the best keyboard typing experience and a decent screen. Lenovo or Pixelbook Go Chromebooks are all good options. It's not ideal, but if you can get your hands on the demo models in store, you can compare each of them in person. Just make sure to bring lots of hand sanitizer!

    • @rossevans11
      @rossevans11 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Should get her the i3 PBG. TN panels, and panels with below 100% SRGB coverage, should not exist on anything but the cheapest of the cheap devices. Even budget smartphones have screens that meets these requirements, why are most Chromebooks still coming with 60% SRGB TN junk panels, or really lousy ultra low end IPS?
      Worst of all, these junk Chromebooks (or junk devices in general) are not even cheap over the longer term, as most of them start to fall apart within 12 months (and I speak as someone who suffered through many lousy Chromebooks, before there were better options). For Windows laptops, people don't mind buying the plastic fantastic garbage, because when they fall apart, it's an opportunity to buy another piece of junk with upgraded internals. With Chromebooks, that same upgrade pressure doesn't exist, because Chrome OS tends to perform better over time, and certainly no worse, and of course the platform isn't one on which you're going to be running any hugely demand software on

Whether you but from Amazon or not it is a great place to get the specific info on any computer. If you scroll to the bottom (or click on more about the product. It will list like type product. That and of course Google best computer for... school, work, gaming. I ended up buying the 2021 acer flagship. But the acer 315 of any type is a great laptop and available super cheap renewed

    🙏 Sorry to say these but revise about what you have done:-
    (1) Why are you missing even a basic detail of the laptop's specification like O/S the screen size, processor spec, memory. etc.. etc.
    (2) Mate it is a laptop not a military tank, when you use it be sensible poking your middle finger firmly onto the middle of a laptop is nonsense and take the whole time of your show and leaving important information unattended ?
    (3) It's seems as you still need to improve and educate yourself about technical aspect before sitting in front of the camera next time. May God bless you son 🙌 😉 😉
