      Yessir!
      I still gotta do my homework because I like the tackle that the chiefs took right after us

      Suamataia also a great pick by the Chiefs!! But love the Rosengarten pick for Baltimore, probably starts at guard and could end up being their future RT, but he's going to be really good!

      @ThtguyCSG I think when he gets stronger, he’ll mitigate some of his issues.

      @@GSLINGFOOTBALL if. Sometimes players have strength or they don't. Rosengarten has a ton of concerns.
      Arms on shortish side for OT.
      Way to upright in stance.
      Hand usage is really poor
      Struggles to sink hips, bend knees and anchor
      Even when he gets to 2nd level, leans on players rather than moving them off the spot
      In National title game...Rosengarten looked like a deer in headlights. He had an awful game that would've been worse had Penix not been firing the ball out so fast.

    As usual great film work very well done sir, I like that Rosengarten protected Penix’s Blindside since he’s left handed.

    • @GSLINGFOOTBALL
      @GSLINGFOOTBALL  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks brotha much appreciated and I completely agree! If you can protect the blindside at a high level like he did, that means something!

      Penix did not like Rosengarten was "protecting" him in National Title game. Michigan whose edge rushers are ok but nothing special feasted on Rosengarten.

    Great video. I thought this guy was trash after watching the Michigan game but you’ve changed my perspective on him

    • @GSLINGFOOTBALL
      @GSLINGFOOTBALL  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yeah that’s unfortunate that he had such a bad game on the center stage, cause he had a great season besides that Wolverines game! I counted 10 loses in the Michigan game, ouch! Really like him tho, and would be really surprised if he’s not a starter at some point.

    Great review! Your opinion is likely shared broadly. I see this player, great person, great player surely, at my age seventy, I've seen this before. College isn't the nfl. Its projection. Where we see you expose him to say, Kris jenkins, A true freak, hes a bit challenged, but the speed rusher, nfl level, is totally out of reach. Space off the line and a move, its over. There's no way I see a OT here!? Not sure what your seeing. He's a rotational guard! 5th rounder, A darn good zone run scheme blocker moving forward, A Colton mckivitz.

    • @GSLINGFOOTBALL
      @GSLINGFOOTBALL  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yeah I don’t know exactly if he’ll stick at tackle, going to depend on the team. Actually don’t mind the Colton McKivitz shout. The Michigan tape is severally concerning, but he’s a young player that will get stronger/quicker to anchor and maybe not play so tall at times. But the hand technique, lateral athleticism/footwork to me is a very promising foundation to build on. He certainly needs a year to hit the strength room tho.

    Los Angeles Battle Chargers need as many OLs for Battle time to protect Herbert hopefully they stack up the OLs this upcoming 2024 Draft I wouldn’t mind getting Rosengarten if other OLs r off the board

      ⚡️⚡️⚡️ dude I’m so excited for Jim Harbaugh coming in, I think he’ll prioritize building the line over these first 2 years especially, so would love Alt and maybe drafting Rosengarten as a swing man/guard too.

    Remember Penix is left-handed, Lamar's right-handed.. He'll be just fine.💪🏿

    • @GSLINGFOOTBALL
      @GSLINGFOOTBALL  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      And I certainly don’t think he did a bad job protecting Penix’s blindside, so whatever position he ends up playing, think he’ll do a good job.

    When’s the Penix and MHJ videos?

    • @GSLINGFOOTBALL
      @GSLINGFOOTBALL  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Dang I need to stop forgetting about the Penix vid 😂 I may not do MHJ just because he’s so good lol, but he’s definitely one that gets requested a lot.

    • @Fissey_Gaming
      @Fissey_Gaming 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@GSLINGFOOTBALL yeah that’s fair. I like that you do scouting reports on more under the radar players rather then doing a scouting report on each top 10 projected player. Everyone knows Marvin is going to be elite so not making a video on him makes sense. I’m really excited to see your take on Penix though

    • @GSLINGFOOTBALL
      @GSLINGFOOTBALL  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @Fissey_Gaming yeah I promise I will do Penix at some point before there draft, he’s one of my favorite players in college football, so definitely will!

    Penix sprained his ankle in Michigan game and played his worst game in two years somehow is what happened

    • @GSLINGFOOTBALL
      @GSLINGFOOTBALL  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Didn’t know he sprained his ankle in the game, but Rosengarten definitely struggled which didn’t help. Michigan did a great job upfront in general.

    Love what i see but man, his anchor is really bad

    • @GSLINGFOOTBALL
      @GSLINGFOOTBALL  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yeah his anchor is going to be a concern especially early on; however, in the other 8/9 games I watched, it wasn’t terrible and thought his hands were very good, he’s also a very young player, so I certainly think he’ll get there!

      @@GSLINGFOOTBALL The 49ers need some pass protection on the right side of the line for Brock Purdy, Rosengarten right now in pass pro wouldn't be much if any sort of upgrade over Colton McKivitz in pass pro. I would rather the 49ers take someone like Patrick Paul from Houston who is one of the best pass protecting tackles in this years draft.

    • @GSLINGFOOTBALL
      @GSLINGFOOTBALL  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I actually think Paul is a better run blocker right now. I disagree with PFF Grades when it comes to Paul. Pass Pro, I worry about his hand usage, has no clue how to use his length at the moment and his footwork is a little choppy right now. He’s nasty in the run game! He’s got tons of upside tho as a pass protector with that size and length profile.

    • @dublin7
      @dublin7 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@GSLINGFOOTBALL I would agree with his hand usage but that is extremely fixable with good O Line coaching. I think his footwork could be fixed early too, he has all the tools to be a really strong right tackle for the 49ers and he could be a day one starter if he gets to work in training camp and pre season.

    • @GSLINGFOOTBALL
      @GSLINGFOOTBALL  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @dublin7 oh forsure! I think he has all the tools to be a very good protector/lineman in general and if he puts the work in, he could start early.
