I'm not saying Getsy was good because he sucked , but people have no idea how many times Fields would just refuse to throw the ball until a guy was really open. This isn't college. You can't play like that in the NFL.

Telesco opening the preseason with Minshew and AOC as the only starting QB options says a lot about him. A lack of vision and common sense are highlighted. Who in their right mind would think starting either one of those guys by choice was a good ideal for success.
Tom Telesco won’t make moves. He’s making a point that we’re stuck with “his guy” Minshew.
Davis and Jones were talking about venues and revenue and maybe how Jones leveraged the owners and manipulated financing to keep the Raiders out of L.A. and send them to Vegas.

I was, and am, of the opinion that AOC was over drafted. He was more of. Round 7 or UDFA guy for me. Then the Raiders picked him and I grinned.
They should of gotten a freaking QB in the draft.
The trading camp story might be the opposite; the defense was training against a lame offense so now a third string offense can now ball in them.
There could be a big bidding war for Dak as there could be quite a few other teams that won't be settled at QB next season. You can bank on the Steelers and Giants needing a QB. Teams that probably will need a QB are the Seahawks and Titans. And in the maybe category are the Jets (if Rodgers retires), the Rams (if Stafford retires), the Panthers (if Young shows no improvement) and the Browns (if Deshaun Watstien sucks again).
Trey Lance? Give me a break. Jimmy G beat him out.
I like the Trey Lance idea. Why not? The only other options are Dak or....re-acquire Carr at a discount, keep Davante happy, and let those guys cook finally, with a real HC and a legit defense.

The OC was fired last year, who came from the Bears, and the Raiders QB situation this year lookes pretty bad. This year, they have 2 pretty good QB's that don't look that good. Could the OC have something to with it? Also, they passed on a QB in the draft. The OL needs Jackson back, and they don't look that good either. To bad they let Carr go. The DL can't stop the run! I see another mess starting again. Until they prove themselves, I, as a fan, can say what I want.

As person who supports the Raiders, this is what they get. We had a QB in Derek Carr, and Mark Davis (the worst Owner in the NFL) allowed a failed Head Coach to change the team. Mark Davis let the NFL pressure him into firing Jon Gruden, and with all the dumb moves Mark Davis allowed to happen, this is what we get. Mark Davis should sell the team to a more competent Owner. If Davis can't fix this mess after this season, then the fans in Vegas should boo Mark Davis ass into selling the team, or boycott the games. I would trade for Trey Lance, or the better option in Jake Browning with the Bengals.
Trading for Trey Lance would be the single dumbest thing the Raiders would have done in the past few years - and that's saying A LOT.

I was saying that the Raiders should trade for Trey Lance all off-season. He was a good looking draft pick who never got a real chance due to an injury. They could have traded before his value increased as a backup.
This also looked good for the Cowboys because it displayed depth at the 2nd and 3rd string level.
