It'd be an interesting development if Vaggie's death was hate-crime related, because so far Vivzie has very much been going with the 'characters are not their sexualities' approach. Obviously Angel Dust makes being hypersexual a part of his identity, but it's an actual character motivation and not just a shallow attempt at representation. While I wouldn't necessarily be opposed to Vaggie's death being related to her sexuality, I wouldn't be keen on it either. I love how natural all of the characters' sexualities feel so far, that they're just a part of the character and not the characters' entire identities. Makes them far more multi-faceted. But Vivzie's been great with her writing so far, so I wouldn't be surprised if she makes it interesting beyond just shock value/preaching. And I'm definitely buying into the 'Alastor was/is a cannibal' thing. The man brought up gumbo, the ultimate dish for disguising the type of meat being used XD

Top to bottom it goes Lucifer at the top, his wife and daughter Lilith and Charlie directly below him, the remaining Deadly Sins (Satan, Asmodeus, Beelzebub, etc) below them, the Goetia demons below the Deadly Sins and with their own internal ranking (including Stolas), then the Overlords (Vox, Valentino, Alastor), then the basic Sinners (Vaggie, Angel Dust, etc), then the Imps, Hellhounds, and other native Hellborn at the bottom below them.
Alastor is always shown smiling and acts polite. The reason he never stops smiling's that he believes it shows power and dominance. If a rival were to frown, he would see them as weak.

Charlie is actually the third most powerful demon in Hell, but she tries to keep this very kind persona going so she hold back (she could have just smited Katey Killyjoy), during her song everything she did was visible to the audience (she was warping reality). She has a darkness under her that she fights to suppress, when she mentions burning, torture, or get excited she shows her horns *literally*, it makes her smile.

My favourite tiny details from the pilot: 1. At 16:44 it’s easier to hear in the actual episode but if you listen carefully, you can hear the sound of a zipper being done up right as Alastor says ‘ha… no’. 2. At 18:26 you can actually see Angel Dust step backwards out of frame so he has the space to get a decent running start to flying tackle Vaggie. 3. After you watch this I HEAVILY suggest reacting to Helluva Boss. It’s basically a spinoff that takes place in the same universe and does a good job with world building. They usually release new episodes every 1-2 months (and also the season 1 finale was skipped over for now due to legal issues) and is a good way to pass the time until Hazbin Hotel’s full show comes out.

I consider Charlie to be a reverse-goth girl. You know like how some goths are raised in happy cheerful environments that try to keep them ignorant to the ugly side of life, even though they know deep down that the world is not all sunshine, rainbows and happy endings, and they try their hardest to embrace that harsh reality. Charlie is pretty much the opposite of that. She was born and raised in Hell surrounded by misery, doom, gloom, and endless suffering, but she knows deep down that there is more to life than just that. That the world is not a miserable place. There is joy and happiness in there as well.
Charlie is also half angel since Lucifer was an angel of Heaven. If Vivziepop follows the Biblical lore, that is. I do remember hearing somewhere that Lucifer and Satan are two different entities in Vivzie-verse... but, I don't know.

Can we just discuss what how much Vaggie is in love with Charlie! Girl was willing to go head to head with the Radio Demon! Someone who she fully understands is utterly powerful and terrifying. And she's hyper aware every time Charlie touches her or looks at her. So cute!
Can I just say that I absolutely loved the part where Angel does the the daddy joke and when serpentious says "son???🥺" she did the same face as Angel🤣💘💘💘💘 the "wtf????🤨🤨🤨" look was so in sync!🤣
The story of this is that to avoid overpopulation in hell, the angels demanded that they come down to hell once a year to kill as many demons as they can for a day before returning back to heaven in an event called "The Cleanse", though others also call it the "Extermination" as well. Charlie (the blond red cheeked and very happy girl) is the princess of hell and wants to try to rehabilitate demons in her hotel so they will "check out" into heaven so she doesn't have to watch her people get slaughtered every year. As you saw, most of hell thinks it is a stupid idea and even her father Lucifer doesn't approve of it, but Alastor the Radio Demon wants to attempt to help her make her dream a reality for his own amusement and his support is actually what is giving her what she needs to do so. Hope that cleared everything up in terms of what the plot of the show overall is.
An extra bit of info: the angels use spears with a special blade on the end that can permanently kill demons. Any other method used to kill a demon will just have them regenerate eventually, but those specialized spears make it so they don't come back. Those spears are highly valued in Hell (and almost certainly illegal to own and difficult to get ahold of). You can see at the beginning that the actress was killed by those spears, but by demons. The Cleanse is the ultimate time to off any rivals/enemies and make it look like it was the angels, and it is heavily implied that the actress who took over for the dead one arranged the hit. Also Vaggie owns an angel spear, and was using it to threaten Alastor. Please correct me if my info's out of date, this was all the case last time I looked into it XD

Since the pilot of Helluva Boss is so short, I'd recommend reacting to it in the same video as the Addict Music Video, which gives some character context for Angel Dust. The Helluva Boss series (not counting the pilot) currently has 7 episodes in season 1 and 2 episodes in season 2. 9 total. Also, Vivziepop has some other animated shorts worth watching like Son of 666, Timber, Holidaze, Bad Luck Jack (based on the webcomic Zoophobia), and Oh Millie. And there's two Hazbin Hotel webcomic one shots. I don't mean to overwhelm you, just putting all the information out there.

Third fun fact: Because so _very_ many people have asked which would win in a fight, Vivzie has confirmed that Alastor's (the Radio Demon/Strawberry Pimp) and Stolas's (from Helluva Boss) abilities work very differently from each other, so much so that they're not really comparable, but just in terms of raw power, Stolas is stronger.

Episode 7 was always meant to be the season finale. Episode 8 was added later as a sort of celebration of what the show had become.
I consider Charlie to be a reverse-goth girl. You know like how some goths are raised in happy cheerful environments that try to keep them ignorant to the ugly side of life, even though they know deep down that the world is not all sunshine, rainbows and happy endings, and they try their hardest to embrace that harsh reality. Charlie is pretty much the opposite of that. She was born and raised in Hell surrounded by misery, doom, gloom, and endless suffering, but she knows deep down that there is more to life than just that. That the world is not a miserable place. There is joy and happiness in there as well.
Charlie is also half angel since Lucifer was an angel of Heaven. If Vivziepop follows the Biblical lore, that is. I do remember hearing somewhere that Lucifer and Satan are two different entities in Vivzie-verse... but, I don't know.

Vivziepop confirmed that Charlie could crush Alastor if she wanted
The story of this is that to avoid overpopulation in hell, the angels demanded that they come down to hell once a year to kill as many demons as they can for a day before returning back to heaven in an event called "The Cleanse", though others also call it the "Extermination" as well. Charlie (the blond red cheeked and very happy girl) is the princess of hell and wants to try to rehabilitate demons in her hotel so they will "check out" into heaven so she doesn't have to watch her people get slaughtered every year. As you saw, most of hell thinks it is a stupid idea and even her father Lucifer doesn't approve of it, but Alastor the Radio Demon wants to attempt to help her make her dream a reality for his own amusement and his support is actually what is giving her what she needs to do so. Hope that cleared everything up in terms of what the plot of the show overall is.
An extra bit of info: the angels use spears with a special blade on the end that can permanently kill demons. Any other method used to kill a demon will just have them regenerate eventually, but those specialized spears make it so they don't come back. Those spears are highly valued in Hell (and almost certainly illegal to own and difficult to get ahold of). You can see at the beginning that the actress was killed by those spears, but by demons. The Cleanse is the ultimate time to off any rivals/enemies and make it look like it was the angels, and it is heavily implied that the actress who took over for the dead one arranged the hit. Also Vaggie owns an angel spear, and was using it to threaten Alastor.

Since the pilot of Helluva Boss is so short, I'd recommend reacting to it in the same video as the Addict Music Video, which gives some character context for Angel Dust.
The Helluva Boss series (not counting the pilot) currently has 7 episodes in season 1 and 2 episodes in season 2. 9 total.
Also, Vivziepop has some other animated shorts worth watching like Son of 666, Timber, Holidaze, Bad Luck Jack (based on the webcomic Zoophobia), and Oh Millie. And there's two Hazbin Hotel webcomic one shots.
