I recently bought this model but I’m not sure if it’s working correctly. I bought specifically for EPB, but doesn’t seem like the function is working and I haven’t update the scanner at all. Any idea? Whether it need to be updated first before I can fully use the scanner.
great video have a question can this devise be updated on Mac iOS system?? is there a subscription payment? if it is, how much? does it have life time update??
@@SimpleCarGuy I have the actron cp9580A which still holds it's own even on some new cars but wanted something newer. after trying a dozen scanners, I ended up getting the bluedriver. The only scanner under 100 that has mode 6 and packs a lot more like recall info and instant email support, and it's fast which I was surprised. Driving around monitoring live data it's as fast as cable scanners.
i have a portable scanner that i like, but this one looks much better! i do pre-purchase inspections, a necessary tool. help keeping someone from purchasing a lemon.
So what’s the best scan tool they make with as much functions I can only seem to find these on Amazon, however I just ordered the 880. Is the 680pro do that much more than the 880?

Hi! That depends on what you need exactly. If you will ONLY be working on a BMW, then I'd get the BM700 as it's less expensive and has more special functions. If you will be working on any other cars, BM700 will not be helpful and you would have to get another scanner (like the SC870)

I'm not sure about their scanner but we had one of their battery analyzers and it was woefully inaccurate, we had to send it back.
I downloaded all the updates related to Toyota and Mazda. This scanner keeps insisting my Yaris is a Toyota Vitz.

I'd say the CGSULIT SC870. What are you looking for in a scanner, any specific requirements? What reset functions are important to you?
