Nice to see 8 years later, the company is still in business.
Bought it. It's a little claustrophobic inside. Had to change the guy line springs for
hocky straps after their creaking kept me awake all night long. Added in my
10cm self-inflating foam mattress that I sleep well on, but made no difference
to this canvas stretcher swag as it has a dip that makes it uncomfortable for
my back. Owner said to get another piece of canvas sewn in. If it's canvas,
another layer is still going to stretch. Now going back to my 2 person ground
tent. I paid over $500 for the Homestead Stretcher Tent that's really
uncomfortable
Looks good I'd like to see how it performs in the rain maybe make another commercial in the rain. Looks like if it was light enough .
it would be the thing you want in the jungle or rainforest

Ironically enough in America a twin bed is a single bed. But either way the swag is awesome.

Am I the only one who thinks that the valley created down the middle by the rain fly is a design flaw?
only if the height is not adjustable and both have to be up at the same time. Otherwise, yes you are the only one.
Pointl Ess I should have stated my train of thought was use in the rain. Used exactly as it’s shown in this video, in the rain, there is potential for ponding, or water accumulation, in the fly.
@@crabby117 Yes, in your case water would just pool up. However, at a certain point the person would notice this and remedy the situation by putting down one of the side flaps.

What is the value proposition? Why this vs. something else like a tent or a hammock?
Hi Brian, thanks for the question. Versus a tent, you still need to sleep on something inside a tent, this serves as a tent and mattress. Versus a hammock, much more comfortable, weather proof, and you can set up where you want, rather than having to find suitable trees. I hope this helps a little? Brett
