Thank you for this. Iam asian and Iam 50 yr old. I will try that canmake sunscreen:) you should try as well numbuzin vitamin c and their ceramide no.2 moisturizer. Affordable yet works well on skin:) God bless:)

I double-cleanse at night--oil/balm cleanser like Eve Lom or One Organics (or whatever it's called) followed by the Sephora Collection gel cleanser. Followed by prescription Tret, Vintner's daughter then either the Goop Genes moisturizer or CeraVe. Totally works for me.

Biggest change I made a few years ago - I got rid of using cotton pads for toners/essences. I just place a few drops in my hands and pat on. This uses way less product and no need to buy cotton rounds.

I use the OcuSoft lid scrub Allergy wipes. They have a lil gentle scrub type pad. LOVE THEM!!! They are great if you suffer from allergies or if you have a stye. One thing I do is cut them in half!! I don’t need the whole pad to wipe my lids down. I just keep the other half in the pouch and fold it over. They stay just fine and moist for the next evening.

Ironically, I have been letting my skin care sink in for at least 15 minutes for years. It started because we had one bathroom, so I would take a shower first, before my husband. After applying my skin care and wrapping my hair in a towel, I would go back to bed! I would lay on my back with my eyes closed and sort of meditate. Really just relax and reflect on the day ahead of me. After my husband was through in the bathroom, I would proceed to put on my face and do my hair. The towel had absorbed a lot of water from my hair and was quick to style. I dubbed this routine my Queen of Sheba time. 😊

I am always grateful for your tips because I use so many of your recommended products (that are also economical, I might add)! The biggest game changer for my skin has been exfoliation.

Great tips! I need to follow many of them. I don't think I exfoliate enough and really haven't changed my skin care routine much over the years. Just want it simple.

Another TH-camr mentioned using cheap white washcloths for exfoliation, so I bought a few textured ones and it really does work! And being white, they will show you exactly where any of the day's makeup remains.

I have been using a cleansing oil recommended by Dr. Dray. It is ROHTO Hadalabo Gokujun Cleansing Oil. I really like that it rinses off easily and a refill bag can be purchased so I’m not repurchasing a new pump and bottle.

Good morning Laura Rae! I LOVE the Numbuzin essence which I tried on your previous recommendation. I will definitely try a bit in a foundation or concealer to thin it out and moisturize. The cleansing oil may have to be my next venture. I think with the colder weather it would be a great addition. Thank you again for all of the great finds you bring to us. Have a terrific weekend, be well.💕😊

Hello Laura, Unfortunately for me, I've always gone with,
"Less is more" so I still love my Basis soap. Yes, I said it! I guess it's because I could never afford anything.
When I could afford to buy thing's, I worked so many hours that it was survival mode.
I have every excuse in the book. I love my Basis. BUT, I do have nice skin and I attribute it to using Sun screen and great genetics. The truth is, I loved the smell of my sunscreen so I am faithful to it! Plus, I've always washed my face before I go to sleep. Now I use almost everything you suggest. I've always been a make-up lover. So washing it off and sunscreen protection.
Lately its been SRB wash and after I apply trio of GoPure serum before my moisturizer. I just started using them, boy after just a few days, I see a beautiful difference in texture! I swear, I must read your mind, I was looking at the brush cleaners all week, but I was waiting for YOU to do a video and I will use the same favorite brush to christen it! Thank you Dear Laura for all your super advice! Also, for putting everything in order underneath your video's to make it super easy !❤ I try to use the links too!

I'm surprised as someone who works in a school, you don't use baby shampoo on your eyes. It's a miracle to keep pink eye away if you're working with little kids but really helps to get rid of all makeup etc in your eyelids. It was recommended by my dermatologist 20 years ago and I've never looked back. I'm sure it's way cheaper as well. Even in retirement from working in schools, I still use baby shampoo a couple times a week on my eyes in the shower.

So, the tip that spoke to me was cleaning the cell phone. I don't know why that never crossed my mind. I always make sure nkt to hold the phone to my face, but never thought about all the bacteria on our fingers after touching the screens. Also, like you, I ckean my brushes after every use (especially the sponges and face brushes). I still struggle with acne, and that has really helped keep my skin clearer. Thanks for all these wonderful tips and product recommendations! I'm going to try the brush cleaner you suggested. ❤❤💕

Great tip about getting off ALL eye makeup. I started using a separate eye wash after makeup removal a few months ago and it's a big difference! I don't get as much irritation, clogged oil ducts in my waterline, and lash breakage, which are some of the issues with leaving eye makeup on. I didn't realize how much mascara was left over either.

Most drugstores and Walmart have a generic ocusoft that's cheaper. I buy mine in individually packaged disposable scrub pads. Works much faster than finger scrubbing. I have lupus and have gotten eye condition in past that's gone just by using these pads.

I'm using the Numbuzin #3 toner along with the IUNK BetaG serum and moisturizer. I've been cleansing in the AM with the Avene PHA one you spoke about today (I leave it on for 10 minutes and rinse off). This combo has def made my skin smoother. I have super sensitive skin and so I've always stayed away from retinols/retinals. etc. but always wished I could. The one from Avene sounds very promising. What are your results? Awesome video...this was 10 videos in 1!

Great recommendations. I occasionally use a mild olive oil to remove mascara and actually found it does a better job than some of the expensive specially formulated removers. A drop of baby shampoo in warm water is also good for wiping over the eye area.

Hi Laura.....I am looking for a good daytime eye cream, but after trying for years and years....I am so tired of eye creams that are sticky. I have yet to find an eye cream that does not become sticky after a few hours. It would seem that if it's sticky and you smile or laugh the crease will stay. It's not like I touch underneath my eyes. But sometimes after I apply everything I will have to gently touch up, clean up under my eye and it's hard to do because of the tacky, sticky eye cream....Can anyone please help? I am 59 years old and have been looking for years and years for something not tacky....I promise you they all are...

So I'm new to the channel and enjoyed the first 3 to 4 videos I watched but then, I noticed a pattern of promoting products. This channel is just like watching TV ads. Very little tutorial or dialogue, almost all the content is advertising. I've never subscribed and unsubscribed to any channel until now Lol.
