Laura, can you give a tutorial on how you curl and style your hair? My hair is almost exactly like yours and haven’t gotten good results on my curls.

These are really great tips. The only thing I could possibly add, is I use a Hothead over my shower cap when I do a deep conditioner. The added heat really helps it to get into the hair shaft, I think.

Hi, Laura, your hair is beautiful! I love your tips, especially that we don’t have to expect horrible hair as we get older. I am 63 and have colored my hair all my life. Have decided to go natural. My biggest issue right now is the frizz my fine hair suffers from now that we moved to Texas. Getting consistent results from products is a battle. Thanks again!

Coincidentally, I just read an article this morning, that said, the best thing that you can do for your hair to help it grow and not shed so much is to eat proteins. So I bet you are right that the Protein is helping. I enjoyed this so much and you look beautiful. Love, Melissa.

I definitely feel that eating more protein has helped with the thickness improving. Love you Melissa!❤️

I'm loving hats these days! Been avoiding regular haircuts ever since COVID closed the salons. My baby fine, thin hair doesn't like the collarbone length - longest it's ever been - but I don't want to go layered again. I wore that forever. Can't decide some days what to do with it; other days it's just limp bc it's fragile and I only wash twice a week. Enter hats! A whole new category of things to collect! Love the video Laura Rae! Your hair looks great!

      @Elizabeth,
I said exactly the same thing. I love those colors so, so much. especially on Laura. I wear the same colors with a purple liner that I found. Its the ONLY liner I can use that doesn't make my eyes swell. It's made by NK but I was told its discontinued! It makes the green in my eyes pop. The color I use is by
NYX and it's flat orangish color. You might want to pick it up if you like. I seem to love it on everyone! 🌹✌

I have fine wavy highlighted hair much like you…I use Olaplex 3 a couple times a month, various bond builder leave ins, a curl activator and gel. I also use a diffuser to about 80% dry and then use clips at the scalp to give me lift. I am 65 and love my hair more now than I ever have. I used to blow dry my hair straight and lived in fear it would rain, lol. Now I wash my hair every 4 days, and each day it looks better…and let it rain…I know I can fix up easily.

    Hello Laura!
Wow, what a fantastic video. I've been waiting for this.
Most of my hair fell out about a year ago. My hair was my "Thing" I was devastated when it really started to happen so I got it cut into a short shag. And started to use different types of things to get it to grow back.
I took vitamins, which I always have, but consulted with someone going through this same problem. They of course recommended the "Devine Locks" vitamins and to basically eat more protein, just like you're doing.
I decided to let it grow in and thought I was going to have a beautiful full head of grey hair.
I ended up with a skunk spot grey and some dirty blonde with some grey where ever it wanted to go. Long story short. Its now a thick head of hair with 2 haircuts in between.
I have to say, its never been so healthy so I've decided not to put color in and join the grey revolution. Well, no so much. But when im outside, all I see is shiny, healthy, lovely hair. I've always been a natural blonde with progressive brownish that I thought would look horrible. It doesn't and I'm happy that I've done it. It's not for everyone. I have never received so many compliments. BUT, I need products like you've mentioned here. I have to re watch this video . But the one big change that I've made on my own is, using better hair spray, I now use Kendra 25 and Kendra mousse #17 I wash my hair every other day, w Loreal Blonifier gloss & conditioner. I think I need something to give it a treat every week so I'm going to see in your video what I think will work best, I will definitely keep you updated with my progress! Thank you so much for your help! I love all your video's Laura! Sorry so long! I'm a talker if you didn't notice by now. 💛😅✌❤ Stay Blessed.

These for my fine wavy hai Work so well they are super light and make it like silk. Nice… loved the info but my head is spinning from choice! I certainly can’t afford so many options for one part of my body! 😂😂😂 my hair grows like a weed.. white and wild. Routine is very spare and simple and inexpensive…all things that suit my wallet. Sometimes less is more. I wouldn’t know where to start with these options!… plus I’m horrible at knowing my issues because I’m just not as observant as you! Your self knowledge is impressive. I am amazed at how much younger you look now than your older videos. You are great at searching out products at a great price..thank you so much for that! Just which one first??? 🙃😱

Do you have a water softener unit? A relative had very hard water and installed a unit finding great results. It requires a salt added to the unit, but the salt isn't very expensive and can be purchased at Costco or most hardware stores.

    • @LauraRaeBeauty

The shampoo and conditioner I shared are 21.71 for both bottles. That is a drugstore price and the bottles are huge. The deep conditioner is $11.99 which is drugstore price. Also, some of the more pricey shampoo and conditioner I use is so concentrated that I use very little and it lasts a long time.❤️
