    Will try this for egg tarts. I’ve also tried your mini cheesecake recipe and I received so much compliments. No cracks(as long as u follow what it said not to over mix) right sweetness and so delish 😋

      Is it easy to remove the crust from the mold?did u put oil/grease the mold before putting the crust?

    Ha ha...I didn't even have to chill the dough after mixing. Straight away molded in pan, pricked with fork and into freezer for 10 mins and baked. Perfecto!!😁 TQVM for easy peasy recipe 🙏

      Yea, for us we took long while filming and besides our place was very hot at the time. But if you're fast and your place is cold, it's totally doable like you said. Thanks for the comment!

    Just one Question, my tart shells breaks after baking when I'm assembling or transferring to another platter. What am I doing wrong?

      Hi! Perhaps they were underbaked that’s why they broke like that. Try baking them a few minutes more. Hope it helps!

    Is a tart shell the same as a pie shell? Some recipes ask for frozen or very cold butter while making pies while a few recipes like yours ask for softened butter. I am very confused about this and would appreciate your reply! Thanks! And love your channel btw!😀

      Cold in pie crusts to prevent melting fat into the flour b4 baking; this melting of fat while baking (+ a bit of vinegar) makes pie crusts tender. A pie crust is more tender that a tart shell.

    Do u have any methods to remove the tarts out of the moulds ? Incase mine stick inside ?

    Would you recommend baking them first and then adding the filling? Reason I ask is my recipe calls for putting the mixture in the shell and baking for 18-20 minutes at 350. Afraid if I bake the shells twice that will ruin them

    Hi. Nice video! 2 questions:
    1. Do you have to grease the moulds first? Otherwise, won’t the shells stick to the moulds after baking?
    2. How come your shells didn’t puff up upon baking? Mine did and were unusable.

      Hi! No need to grease the moulds (unless they’re all scratched etc). Prick the base of the shells before baking, that’s going to help with the puffing (see how I do it in the video). Hope it helps!
