    I made this video with the least amount of edits possible, so it's a little lengthy.
    I wanted you to see the comparison in real time vs. just a bunch of side by side photos.

    Since fakes are getting better in terms of copying the original, I believe fakes can be spotted mainly on the lettering, fakes usually have a thicker font compared to original ones. Paint quality is also another good way to spot fakes, they tend to have a washed out color or a super intense one. I think what you got is an original one too. Maybe the seller had it priced lower because the box has a bit of damage on it and is probably an old stock that the seller wants to push from the stock inventory.

      That's what I'm thinking too

      It depends on the bootleg factories. One Nendo can be produced by multiple different factories, such as Nendo Tanjiro. Each factory has its own distinctive characteristics. Some has bad pictures and bad fonts. But some are highly good. So you can't depend on that.

    Japan culture service is one of the shops amazon fulfills for. They send in the item and Amazon pays up after it's been sold. Due to the item being from a Japanese seller, the items are usually cheaper because they don't tend to price gouge like us sellers. That's what I've learned from my experiences anyway. The figure Is real for sure.

    Awesome video! I got a Fate nendo from ebay and I was frantically looking at it to make sure it was legit. I feel like even after checking all the boxes I’m still suspicious but that’s how it goes haha.

      @@DroobzVids the CEO of goodsmile could tell me it’s legit and I would still be suspicious🤣🤣 at least if the paint looks nice you know it has to be since even the best bootlegs look funky haha

    The biggest giveaway of a fake is good smile company’s logo missing from the box as well as the name of the anime or movie the character is from

    The reason why I watched this bc I was going to get nezuko on Amazon so I’m hoping to get a real one

    Fake nendos are easier to spot from their cheap price. That is a trap for those original collectors who dont want to spend more money. Fake Nendos usually have mid-range price max. This is often mistaken as cheap originals.

    • @DroobzVids
      @DroobzVids  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yea I tend to stay away from those $30 price ranges you see on some nendos, unless it's a sale from reputable websites or goodsmile themselves

      @@DroobzVids That is so true! Too bad not many realize that. I still read comments in ecommerce websites from buyers who ask "Is this original?" on Nendoroid worth USD10-15 (facepalm).
