1935 Austin 7 Save part 1 June 2024 SD 480p

I picked up an old Austin 7 engine and gearbox; so happened the entire chassis and drive shaft along with both axels and four wheels were also included at the grand total price of $100. I had to spend an entire day getting it from Connecticut;. But it's such a treasure trove of spares. I have the crazy idea that since Derek of Vice Grip Garage and Jennings from his channel can both start lost engines; maybe I can too? I don't have their skills, or resources. But I have grit and determination, and a 90 year old Father who has a wealth of knowledge about all things Austin 7. So here is the first part of the video of me trying to get this old wreck running...

Thanks for the thumbs up. I get what your saying. I'm gonna try and develop a little bit more content related to this engine in particular. I don't know if I can even get it started. It's seized! But I'm gonna try.

Not even a wire...well one battery cable. Everything else is not there...and only half the distributor. Someone...in their wisdom cut off all the brake cables (yes brake cables; like a bike); so you're right. No brakes!
