Going for my first time hunt next weekend. Your videos have been super helpful! Very short and too the point and no bullshit. I enjoy your Channel thanks !!! Hunt’em Big.
I always hunt from a ground blind, they always work real well. They shield me from the elements, hide my movements, and safer imo. No worries of falling off a ladder or out of the stand if the harness isn't connected or connected properly.
Great video to us rookies. Steve you selflessly pass helpful hints to other hunters. Thank you. Something about your calm voice. Like a big brother. Always like your videos. Happy hunting. -david
Heres my take lol when you make a stick and foliage blind make sure to rap it around yourself. I know from having them sneek upon me that you need to, its kinda obvious but yea.
Yah just I like to make sure it's outside for awhile to get all the scents off it and sometimes sit in it before hunting season just so they get used to your scent being there
Only down side is u can’t leave them on public or crown land you have to take it with you when u leave and that sucks especially if u took the time to brush it in
Your absolutely right I went hunting during bow Season my friend never listen to me about putting his ground blind into cover lefted it out in the open down from a line of powerlines with a $80. Chair in it the following week we came backcto hunt the area his ground blind was gone someone stole it and I laugh my ass off , I told my friend next time take your head out of your Ass and listen to some experience never leave your blind in the open exspecially on state land mind was there but it was in cover so since he lost his blind which wasn't his to begin with our other buddy's blind and chair disappear I really hate hunting with dump asses
I hunt from ground blind but we can only see bout 50yrds or so where I live all them pet deer in open fields on this video is a joke in my neck of the woods in east Texas
@William Smith and can’t leave stand more than 72 hours and no bark penetrating stands etc stand has to move trees or ground blind has to move around area or new location its pain
ive pitched them a shot deer out of them same day, shot a 10 point last year out of one i got from walmart a hour after i set it up. just depends i guess
New subscriber here. Love your video. We have a similar TH-cam channel if you want to check it out, "Hunt and Gather with the Chatters". I love ground blinds for archery!
I PUT A TRUCK BED LINER IN THE BOTTOM OF MY BLIND. ITS LIKE A TIRE. IT HELPS TO KEEP MY FEET WARM ALSO. I HAVE A 5in × 5in whole CUT OUT ON MY BLIND ONLY. I DON'T USE ANY SCENTS. THROW CORN ON THE GROUND. GET MY LIMIT EVERY YR.

We have adapted to our surroundings with our ground deer blind and it has brought success to our hunting.

At least make it C shaped in the direction your looking
R.i.p. to the $400 in hunting camo that I just purchase and lost the receipt
Haha.. You can still use it if you build a bush blind.. I buy mine at Walmart. It's cheap and I'm always in fields with barbwire.

Benn hunting out of blinds forever ( fear of Heights ) and shot many deer out of them. But due to bad back i use crossbow.
I need a box playing I'm going to try this year I'm going to be using my treestands but it's 63 I think occasionally have take to the ground
First thing is cover or paint for face, makes you stand out like a light
Put a rubber mat in your blind. I use an old air mattress. Quiet but most of all it keeps your feet much warmer than frozen ground.
@Joseph Kelly Damn good idea. Thank you.
You should do a good video on your IQ bow sight.
It’s a complete rush to have deer at 5 yards and they don’t know it.
No blind for me, the old way, sitting in the ground against the wind about 100 yards away from the tracks. Success every season.
What kind of chair do you have in your blind? It looks like it pegs into the ground.

It’s illegal to bait corn etc. where I hunt an live in east Texas unless you own or lease private land I hunt public land free range deer

Yea we have same restrictions on no motorized vehicles on our public lands National Forest wilderness type 2 etc good luck on hunting this year
Just a factual statement.
Tips for using it on public property
AMAZING
A pop up blind set up 2 months before youth hunt.dont got to blend it in because it's setting so long before hunting out of it right???
It's better to somewhat brush in and break up the outline but yes usually if it's there awhile little bucks and does wont mind the blind after awhile

Dont hunt out of a blind.
