Thanks for Visiting Mike!!
Fallow is so good!! Their whey tart is incredible, one of the best desserts I had last year. Would definitely recommend going there for brunch sometime if you're back too!
If you're in London I recommend you go to the Oldest Restaurant in London The Rules in Covent Garden
As a professional pizza maker, I rate his pizza quite bad on looks don't know about taste but he seems to emphasize a lot of sauce on all the pizza which is okay in some type of pizza not all of them.
As somebody who just spent a week in Napoli and literally just came back to London 7-8 hours ago I cried looking at the pizza and when he said it looked Neapolitan I died inside
@@XxXJOHNYB0YXxX Telling you the truth, some of these Michelin star chefs are quite bad in a lot of foods. I prefer one dimensional chefs which know some specific foods, and they just make them over and over since I know the taste will be awesome, then these chefs who try to do everything and take their style of cooking to some foods which is not necessary and ruin everything for everyone and make you pay a truckload of money for bad food.
@@d3d952 tbh most chefs I've spoken to think they know a bunch but they don't. And the general public just listen to them because
I think it depends on when you go and which restaurant considering it’s a chain, I have been and it was a lot darker crust and was good! Nothing spectacular but £17 for all you can eat in London you kinda get what you pay for 🤷🏻♀️ a single dominos pizza costs more
Fallow is legendary. Incredible food.
You should collab with Sorted Food, Korean Englishman and Gabie Kook. All suit your brand & their food game is Jedi level
He already has if I'm not mistaken!
@@nwalsh1 I must have missed those, thanks
@@nwalsh1link?
Glad to see Fallow again bein promoted by TH-camrs, they have their own channel if anyone wants to see them cook and how a chef works the lunch/dinner shift etc. Sorted has done something with them, Jolly has promoted them, if I ever go to London I know I will go to Fallow.
Pizza 🍕🍕🍕 Muscles 🦪 Cog Fish Head! 🐠
LOL @8:24 is exactly how i like my pizza. the more sauce the better. 😍
The g in courgette is soft. The nearest pronunciation in English would be something like cour-jet.
Omg those mussels looks so good 😫
Fallow is on my bucket list ever since seeing them with the Sorted team! So glad you went there and reviewed some different dishes!
Yay another sorted food fan! Do you like "jolly" too? And Topjaw has loads of London stuff
All that food looked fantastic🎉
Fallow!!!! I love their channel!
I tried Fallow yesterday, my new favourite eatery for sure.
Corn ribs, amazing.
Confit cabbage, amazing.
Mussels, amazing.
Tasted hen of the wood mushroom burger, amazing.
Chelsea tart, amazing.
Miso cocktail, amazing.
So so so good.
WTBH whey tart - I'm lovin it
"Pretty much, this resembles a Neapolitan Pizza". You made enemies with that statement mate.
Lemme guess the mussolinis ?
@@Jews_C0ntr0l_daa__worldd If you know, you know, but apparently, you don't.
So glad you went fallow 🙌
Good for breakfast too!
Also, they have a great TH-cam channel going
Impressed you found the salt beef and tongue place, that truly is a great sandwich. Never got there as early as you did though!
Fallow is absolutely amazing. The food is delicious and the cod head is ridiculously tasty
you've gotten head from a cod...? thats weird dude...
I live in London and you've explored more places here than I have 😂. Will definitely try these places out. They look really good
Everywhere he boasted about in my city was just okay or gross
@@ArohaStill which city are you from?
Lol I love it when you and Gordon Ramsay have to admit plants alone are good😂
As a Brit, thank you so showing that our food can be exceptional! I personally adore UK 🇬🇧 food xx
Didn’t he literally only have Italian food….
that pizza looked very average
It's a chain restaurant really, in that area I would pick homeslice or pizza pilgrams for great pizza.
Nonsense
It was very average. The crust was undercooked.
Average very much so. Having said that, it’s all about the dough when it comes to pizza. The toppings come second.
Very very very average indeed saddest looking pizza even Domino's have better crust 😂😂😂
I just came back from London. Had some iconic foods too.
That sandwich looks delicious.
Im hoping one day you explore outside of london. We have some nice bbq joints and better roast dinner places etc.
I'm shocked that it's an all-cabbage dish that had me watering at the mouth the most. It looked soooo good oh my goodness
to a tune of £19 though for some cabbage
@@masterplanner1000cheap
@@masterplanner1000 Eh, it looks like many different cooking methods went into making it. I am happy to pay a premium for something I would never try to make at home.
Liked the papa John's garlic bread shout out. Furthermore, version this UK seems familiar 🇺🇸
YES, I have seen so much of Fallow on Jolly and Sorted I want ed to see more of it. Have to live vicariously through you all since I can't got myself.
I used to work a minutes walk from that Street Pizza on Watling Street. Just 10 seconds walk down the road is Portford Butchers which I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you try.
I personally recommend their large Cumberland sausage on its own, chicken and bacon baguette and their Philly cheesesteak
Also ANY Pizza Union… my personal favourite pizza place. It’s cheap, fast and delicious
The editing at the end of the first half felt weird.
Or is it just me?
Never would I imagine having pineapple pizza in a Gordon Ramsay restaurant
Why? It’s one of the most popular/common pizza toppings in the uk so I feel like a cheap all you can eat buffet it would be expected tbh?
Went here recently myself the Pizza was amazing
I knew that fish looked familiar. Fallow has a youtube where u watch how the kitchen works. POV style
Pizza looked mid af🤣
I feel like mike carries around hot oil like its his own personal epipen.
If you want some fish & chips I suggest you go to Whitby and make a day of it.
Next time you're in the UK you should hop on a plane and come visit the Channel Islands ❤ would love to see where you went and what you thought 😊
Agreed
Go for Tennerfest in October
Hey Mikey, I've lived in London for quite a while and can confidently recommend 'phat phuc noodle bar' they specialise in laksa! I heard the gyoza is tasty there too although I haven't tried it myself yet. The duck pancakes I would avoid but the laksa is HEAVENLY!!
been watching for awhile now so I know it’s not your style but his name reminded me of it. Gordon released a frozen food line (ironic since he hates frozen food) at Walmart I believe. You likely won’t see this but at least it’s out there lol
I just ordered several Gordon Ramsey frozen dinners at $5.94 each! I'm curious what a 3☆☆☆ chef can offer at this level. Also Andrew Zimmern has several frozen dinners exclusively at Walmart! To be honest, I haven't eaten a frozen dinner in 30 years!!
How were they?
@@YASTravelsEatsWellthey are horrible stick with Marie calenders or stoufers
Gordon Ramsey knows nothing about pizza 😂
he knows nothing else than beef wellington..... he just hires head chefs for his restaurants that knows their stuff
You get what you pay for?! £17 for all you can eat chain restaurant is super cheap! A single domino’s pepperoni pizza is £24 🤷🏻♀️
Yum ❤❤
19$ for a pasta or 17$ pizza buffet. That's easy winner, winner pizza for dinner
I left this channel some years ago, I miss the fun strange findings he had on his previous channel!
"Papa John's garlic butter." "Applebee's vibes." Mikey feeling extra spicy today 😂
Yea, how about that!!
Was just at fallow a week ago...2nd best meal I had there. Angelina had an awesome 10 course kaiseki for 68$. But fallow was definitely awesome and I'd go back for that head
We aren't blessed with a great many good pizza places in UK unfortunately, base face in Hammersmith is pretty good, I'll go there right now in fact just convinced myself 😂
Bro I am craving so bad
Ramsey once through a fit because pineapple on a pizza!!
So knowing that market customers will purchase because our taste buds are not like donkey.
Good job on getting press & being a royal sale out!!
His frozen meals are worse then Marie Callender 😂
Mike: "The slice is too saucy"
Me: "That's why I'm here"
New drinking game: take a shot every time Mike says "cabbage". 😂
sorry Mike... for some reason TH-cam has stopped your vidieos coming up. I have missed you so much mate. Hope all is well
Bloody heck! 😂
You need to head to brick lane for salt beef beigels
The pizza shop seems like the best deal.
Glad didn’t see pineapple one it…😂 britis knows pizza!!!!!
A pepperoni pizza without crushed red peppers is like pasta without a sauce.
Balsamic and ripe strawberries a dream match.
That pizza doesn't look very good. It looks bland and the crust seems soggy/not crispy enough.
Never judge a book by its cover
All for the money. Let him make some please
that kind of pizza straight out of the oven is amazing. the crust towards the center is soggy but that emphasizes the toppings and sauce, while the crust at the end is nice and crispy. plus side is you can eat the whole pizza since the calorie count isn't insane
don't cover the judge by its book
Too much flop, undercarriage looks underdone, red sauce pizzas have too much sauce. What’s your honest review?
He has a good point! But, to each his own!
His "honest" review isn't paid for...
Hit up borough market if in London
You should have tried the pizza challenge.
He never gives a bad review to any food
That’s not true. Dry chicken is a criticism that he would point out
He didn’t like the pizza sauce
He does but truly not so often.
He really has
Omg i love lots of sauce on my pizza lol
Papa John's garlic butter sauce is the best!
Kinda bland don't u think?
100% confirm the mushroom parfait at fallow is unreal
Saw the pizza sauce at the start of the vid and said instantly that was to much sauce. On a thin thin crust it’ll just overpower everything.
Moto Pizza in Chelmsford has much nicer pizza on offer for their bottomless/unlimited pizza if anyone gets the chance to go
High end!
The chefs there at Fallow have a really good TH-cam channel i follow.
What is that green stuff 18:06
Going back to London after 6yrs...already made reservations at Fallow and Brat
never thought cabbage would look so amazing and mouth watering
There is a special place in he'll reserved for those who eat pinappel pizza
One thing Mike has done has taught me to enjoy is the whole animal.
Is that corned beef is that the same thing?
Hi Mikey, is there a difference between salt beef and corned beef. Can you help clarify
From what I know both are essentially the same product variation, the difference is corned beff is finely chopped and often time mixed with gelatin
Using the same beef brisket, salt beef & corned beef are both baked then steamed. The final steaming extra salt is added for the salt beef preparation. This is similar to the Irish-style of preparation with the salted cabbage final steaming!
🔥🔥🔥🔥
Happy London's menu seems like a Denny's menu lol
The last dessert looks like a type of “candy” we have in Mexico called cajeta.
Oohdelish
C'mon Mikey those pizzas look horrible!
Looks are not flavor. Gordon Ramsey doesn't have dozens of restaurants from making bad food. 😂❤
@@carrieullrich5059😂
Guaranteed if he didn’t have a tv persona then his restaurants would all be closed.
Fallow is all over my YT feed these days. Too bad I live in San Francisco.
rolly polly fish heads
All that way to eat heartburn flat bread.
American cheese syringe burger and farmed mussels with a fish head?
On your next visit to London
Order room service
My brunch group went to GR Street Pizza, quality was so so but not bad, the staff were great tho. Good value for the quantity we ate.
you should really go to italy for your pizza
Poor carbonara .😢😢😢
I am a fan of Mike for long time but hot oil on pasta? no thanks lol
Hot oil on pasta is delicious. A good addition to a rich dish
Well the Chinese invented pasta or noodles and noodles with hot oil are awesome but maybe not on a carbonara
Ok mussolini
As a die hard meat eater I typically prefer veg pizzas. Done right they have so much more character and not as heavy. Pizza is already a heavy meal.
There is a korean bbq place close to where you was today called olle, highly recommend!
Fave restoooo! You should try the steak with truffle sauce Mikey..😅😋
Hey Mike, did you know that what you call salted beef, is called corned beef in Australia.
In America, too! So Mike knows that…I was waiting for him to mention that they are the same thing.
Hawaiian pizza is a Canadian creation, You're welcome.
My friends took me to Happy London a few months ago, it is some of the best food I've ever had!
Happy is mainly serves Bulgarian food, but they have other food as well.
Crust looks like Plado
Fallow has an awesome TH-cam channel too!
Italian will mad at you mike ahahhaa
AYCE anytime is fun enjoy Mike
Ooooooooo...as a confirmed pizza monster, I'd be honor bound to go to Street Pizza to try the pizza out. Looks and sounds magnificent! As did the pasta, because I love me some cheesy pasta, and the cabbage dish, too. Huh, we grow mushrooms the same way in my work place's produce department (Central Market on East Lovers Lane in Dallas, thank you very much), as it happens!
