Nvidia destroys all those for gaming too. I have the chrome cast, Tivo, fire stick. Those cant play xbox games, nvidia and other. Nvidia plays everything
Which one would you recommend for a fast and high-quality TV box that has no heating or freezing problems? xiaomi mi box next start 4k mecool km2? Which of these can I buy?
Which boxes have the full Google Play store? I just bought the Xaoimi 2nd gen and no google play app but opens when i use the audio feature....then doesmt have full app store....wth
Agreed. He has d shield pro at 3 and the shield tv at 1. Does that even make sense or is he just taking the size and price into account instead of power.
No idea how the Shield tube variant is #1 given it can't run Plex (both other models can) - and Plex is by a very long way the absolute best way to primarily use your Android box.
Totally agree. I would never buy a streaming device that has a proprietary streaming button on its remote ie; FireStick or Shield. Once cleaned out of bloatware, the Chinese android boxes are cheap and reliable ..... I'm still using boxes that are 5-6 years old. Android ..... there is no substitute.
@@kodiham7532 Depends how much you want to spend. I would stick with the tried and true boxes tht have progressed, version wise. I'm running a couple of 4 year old TX6 boxes that are still v fast. Bought them directly from China. Make sure the box has a decent video processor in it. Zidoo has just brought out a v good box Z9X ..... bit pricey but if you are into gaming it is worth it. Dont buy anything less than a 4Gb/32Gb config. Good luck.
Consider this a topic suggestion. One of my frustrations with Android TV streaming devices is the dead end when it comes to version upgrades. Aside from possibly Google TV streaming devises, which brand that uses either Google TV or Android TV keeps up with version upgrades?
I've been selling Streaming Boxes and IPTV for 10 Years. My Google Certified Boxes keep up with updates, etc. I also have 4 Gig/32 Gig Storage. Great Boxes for the price. I will say the NVIDIA Shield is the Cadillac, but pricey.
@@dgperforms1so what's your recommendation? I bought. Google Onn didn't open it after I noticed it isn't Ethernet. Just Wi-Fi. I have 2nd gen fire tv box with Ethernet port. Just wanted a platform that plays android tv apps.
Forget about the Chromecast it's shit, lots of bugs, casting is crap, if you stream from websites (on the Chromecast browser or in casting) it'll close the feed thinking you're using piracy website.. just trash
Nvidia shield is only 32 bit isn't it? I thought that would limit it in the gaming department. But I suppose the Toblerone shaped remote negates that.😶 edit: just the very first model is 32 bit the newest model has the Tegra X1 64 bit sry

Why there is no tv box with spec as good as the latest smartphone ??? WHY THE FUCK ? I cant find the answer to that even though I think I know why. I bet lots of people also want it. Even Nvidia shield tv pro only scores 260k in Antutu. Phone nowadays can reach 1 million score in antutu.
@@tim3172 DUDE, I'm not talking about price here. I'm talking about SPEC and antutu benchmark. and $1200 is overpriced. Chinese smartphone like xiaomi, vivo, etc can be cheaper with more or less the same performance, and without touchscreen, battery and whatever makes it mobile, it will be MUCH cheaper.
All Boxes/Sticks without 1Gbit/s Ethernet are sh*t. No UHD BluRay Disc Streaming possible. The Typ C Dongle with Ethernet Port on the Chromecast wgtv 4K is even slower than WiFi🤣🤣🤣
Meanwhile, back in reality, there are precious few UHD Blu Ray discs that use more than 50Mbps. It's literally 6 discs that ship on quad-layer Blu Ray discs. The Chromecast uses USB 2.0 which is 480Mbps, or around 400Mbps streaming after USB overhead. The wireless AC connection taps out at 180Mbps in the most perfect, ideal circumstances.
Is there no expense some people won't go to, just to watch that box in the corner? I'd sooner use the cash to buy a dog and go for a walk. Oh... now I come to think of it... I already did...

Omg the introduction to this video is painfully long. We know what a TV box is our we wouldn't have searched for it to begin with.
For me it is informative, since I have a very old Android Box.
Yet you still watched it 😅
For all that complaining you could have included the timestamp to the place where it gets to the point.
