DS.... good lookin out with your videos. This definitely helps applicants/Future Soldiers understand how AIT works. Can you do a video of the Soldiers in the classroom environment? Thanks
This makes my OSUT barracks look like living in Poverty, we didn’t have a day room, our laundry room had 6 washers and dryers, and we had one Computer in the classroom 😂😂
We didnt have nothing like this. I had a laundry room that only had like 4 working sets of washer and dryer, and that's it. The rest of it was falling apart
Go to fort Sill as A 13B and life is VERY different. Crickets everywhere rooms were tiny and dirty dayroom had an old TV with a small handful of movies and like 5 laptops and only 3 worked this room was also the only one in the building. The plus side is the guys about to graduate got all their stuff back including their Switch so we would hook that shit up to the TV and play smash after the day was done.
Brings back many memories,a little nicer than in 2007 when I was at Ft Lee for 92A ait. Didn't have those nice washer and dryers lol. From 1 vet to another thanks for serving. Didn't have those nice barracks like y'all have there, had the older ones
Back in the mid 80's. Navy had 4 to a room with communal bathrooms in training commands. In the fleet, on shore, it was typically 2 to a room with a shared bathroom/shower sink... totally nice in my opinion. But looking at what you are showing, pretty nice accommodations for soldiers. Hopefully they appreciate it. Back in WW1 or WW2, there would be a squad bay with dozens of people... no rec room, etc. Thanks for what you are doing.
FT Rucker, AL. The barracks were okay, but very dated. They have a computer lab?!! I guess they won't get any PT in walking to the library 😒😂 I chuckled at the "ohhh" sound effect when you decided to leave their clothes alone, lol.
Man, you gotta see the barracks some of these new 68W Combat Medics get in Fort Sam Houston, they get Air Force dorms, 2 to a room often with solid wood furniture and two large walk-in closets with two sinks to a single bathroom.
@@MikhailSimmonsmikfitfam Yeah, for some reason 232 Medical Battalion got their hands on some Air Force dorms that the Air Force had lying around. Apparently it's cause they're fixing up the old barracks and the bays in them. And the Army is using them. That's the crazy part.
Crazy how much things have changed in 12 years we had old old old barracks bunked in one room and my barracks at my unit where almost as bad but we got lucky 2 to a room they actually got us nicer new furniture and beds after we came back from Iraq
Wherever this is, I wish I would’ve went. At Fort Benning, we didn’t have nothing like this. It wasn’t 3 to a room. I had 46 other people in my platoon and we all slept in the bay together.
This barracks is way nicer then the ones I had and I didn't have a day room wow crazy a TV Pool table and all I could watch TV My Drill Sgt would bring it out and we Would be able to watch but had to plank this is nuts honestly looks like a hotel wow I'm blown away
They’re so lucky they get all of that. I still have to go to AIT for Infantry(Split ops from the Guard), but we will most likely be in the bays still and not get all of the stuff they do. We were only allowed to do Laundry every night during our personal time, during fireguard, and Sundays. I had an older barracks at Ft Benning. I was in A 1-50
I appreciate that the army is taking in consideration quality of life when it comes to living conditions. It doesn't seem like it should matter, but it really does.
Really nice barracks compared to what I had in BCT back in the day (1971-1972) when I was a young recruit) (brick, but 20 man open bays - and personal computers hadn't been invented yet so no computer lab... My first AIT was a year long school at the Language Institute in Monterrey, Cali - and we had fairly nice brick barracks (4 man rooms with communal latrines), but my follow on school at Fort Ord had barracks that were 30 to 40 years old wooden WWII 40 man open bay barracks... We were the last cycle to use them as they closed the Signal School there and tore everything down... The only night classes we had were tactical training...
I wish my stuff looked like that. Fort Benning’s laundry rooms had like 10 washers and driers. No computer lounge no waiting seating area. I joined the wrong MOS lol
Here is what I would have done as soon as I found out who left their laundry in the machines. I would have made them do push-ups without stopping for at least 2 hours if they stop the 2 hours reset.
I wish I could remember when I was a Drill Sergeant in OSUT at Fort Leonard Wood and I could make videos. Yeah that's cause I never had time to make videos when I was on the trail.😂😂 nah J/k nice video battle!

35Y Redstone Arsenal, AL. Man I wish my barracks looked like that. Luckily we had two man rooms because we were there for about 9 months. Nice video DS
