I am doing 108 times Aum together with Sadhguru (audio) every single morning since 14 months ago , i never skip a day ,amazing thing is even i didn’t feel well the night before ,but i always feel fresh to do it the next morning , even when i husband and my daughter got covid last year , i am fine(negative covid) so i can took care both of them . I am not in the best financial condition now,but amazingly everything when smooth and i am remain calm and content . I believe this Aum chants is help alot with my condition . Thank you so much Sadhguru for intolroduce me this a few years ago 🙏

I have 3-4 chants that I chant every morning when I wake. I have to. It's a desire. I usually fall asleep the night before while anticipating the pleasure I'll feel the next morning when chanting. It's become second nature almost. It's been almost 5 years. It seems like I started chanting last year sometime, not 5 years ago! 😁🙏🙏

I think in north india it is chanted as om only. I also never heard it from anyone else except sadhguru

When I was studying and practicing yoga asanas, the instructor always emphasized that the mantra is made up of three syllables - A - U - M.
the monk chanting videos i watch say it with more of aum rather then om the most powerful videos on youtube recordings for healing and monk meditations recording sounded more like aum and were less shortened and more longer

Am I christian and have found so much benefits from chanting AUM but the problem creeps in when other christians who are rigid to the doctrine say chanting AUM is satanic.Am forced to either chant it slow or isolate myself in places with less people which have gotten me branded.

I have three expressions/mantras that I uttered each day for the past four years. They are for GRATITUDE, CALLING DOWN BLESSINGS on those close to me, and BLESSING WATER. At the beginnings and ends of these "prayers" I utter "AH-OM" or just "AUM". I also chant AUM before and after my meals.
Has my life changed because of chanting "AH-OM" or just "AUM".? I can't say for sure. But just to put forth some effort, I chant them, anyway. It seems like a way to commune with the Cosmic.
So, the correct chant is "AUM", slowly? i recall another one of his videos that instruct the way to utter, "AH-OM" by shaping the lips for the "OM" sound. This way? AAAH-OHM-MM slowly. Try it that way. Feel the vibrations in your head. It feels good. (Long "O" as electrical term "OHM")

I was always taught that the sound of the pranava mantra is OM and I don’t know why it is being sounded as AUM. Maybe is it just a matter of spelling In the English language ? Can anyone please clarify about this confusion in spelling?

Sosadhguri ji pranaam i obey you my question is wouldn't it be right to say that Aum has actually been derived and practiced by Hinduism, sanatan and its not branded and used negatively and considered exclusive only to it. So ut will be wrong to criticize hinduism and sanatan. Bcz its vedas, upnishads and granths were the very first from where this whole knowledge has been disseminated. Hence hinduism and sanatan is true and the oldest and so is its existence.
Hinduism is the oldest culture so definitely these things were first discovered by Hindus. But you know even the Seers and sages who wrote Vedas didn't write their name upon it. Because when something comes from inner realisation it should not be branded with any person or a religion. And that is what Sadhguru is saying
Samskrit scholars may not agree with this explanation, as it is twisted to suit certain types of people..I would like the persons listening to Sadhguru to study thoroughly the contents of Maandyukopanishad (just two pages ctaing 4 small parts known as khaandas)and understand the vedic and real meaning of this Great OMKAAR! @@nareshagarwal5605Mr.Agarwal, no twisting of meaning.But different interptretation including the pronunciation.If You have Apte Samskrit dictionary please see under OM( A_U_M) you will get this explanation, "A" kaaro Vishnurudrishtaa "U" kaarastu Maheshwaraha,"MA" kaarastu smrito Bhahmaa Pranavastu trayatmatmakaha!!( You may understand these simple Samskrit words yet I just translate them for ease of telling these to others: A stands for Vishnu, U stands for Maheshwara and MA stands for Brahmaa -the Creator and thus Pranava viz OM stands for the Trinity of our Dharma) It is pronounced as OM, as it is done by all in the North (priests) and not as AAM as mentioned by Sadhguru! AAM in Samskrit means just-"Yes" .You can just discuss with any known Samskrit scholar in your city and get confirmed!
