Great video as usual James. The sound was excellent when the camera was aimed at you but it deteriorated a bit when aimed away at the boat. Nevertheless, I heard every word.
I already love the 86 but I am absolutely smitten about this one. This owner knows what's up in usability and style. Nice to see that you do not need "med" weather to have a "med" good time. Thank you so much for bringing us along.

James, a truly stunning ship, if ever I was lucky to win lottery I would be knocking on your door. I think the fly bridge with hot tube and lid is a great space. The captain as you say has done a stunning job on maintenance especially those engines. Love the extra pair of shoes just for the engine room. Its impressive that an 86 foot ship can be run by a family. Great video.

Thanks James, Your knowledge and attention to detail is pretty awesome, this is a great yacht. The sound was a little muffled and distorted in places, I would suggest you do some test to get the best sound quality.

Hi James. Great comprehensive tour of a beautiful boat. while no wind noise the sound was a little distorted maybe try different mic sock.
You 'sound' as if you have to much gain on the mic and very muffled. Great walkthrough of a great looking boat. 👌
Good all round view of the boat but sound quality varied a bit i would have waited till the guy with the drill stopped or whatever the extraneous noise was....very nice boat if you got a spare £5 million !

Great presentation James camera quality 👌 only point of annoyance was the machine noise in the background while you were going through your presentation they could have waited those few minutes for you apart from that good.
James, the 86 is great, of course... BUT I'd love to see a walk-thru of a brokerage 28M. That's a legendary charter boat and one can be had for less than $4M
James how do you switch between the lower / upper / docking helm?
Another great walk through, the new microphone was slightly muffled / distorted, but it was still easy to understand.
They’re actually really simple, just throttles back to neutral and activate the other helm with a couple of button pushes, then you’re off again.
Sound quality is much better.

I really like seeing more and more of the matt finishes taking over from the shiny woods. We seen a new 76 yesterday and this things seems so much more, it's length is not however the interior space seems so and amenities is more like a 100. The engine room is spectacular and being set up for a husband wife crew seems very practical, I can't imagine 4 crew on here. Might not been listening well enough, is the Tender included in 3.8 price?
The tender is officially by separate negotiation, however the reality is that a buyer would likely make their offer as a ‘complete package’. She really works well with the dual crew setup, space to take a captain and hostess/deckhand when required, but equally at home as just a 5th guest cabin. Only need for the 4 crew is if she was running as a full time charter boat - extra stew and chef.
beautiful boat! Your sound is a bit tinny, almost like an echo. You said the owner went from novice to ocean yacht master in 12 months. Impressive. how did he achieve that?
sound. - at about 16:15 when you go out on the foredeck, there's a lot of external noise being picked up. Really bad I'm afraid

She’s honestly a stunning boat. The owner had a captain who did his training/sea miles, to then gain his own qualifications.

Hi Doug, that’s a custom autopilot control, so the boat course can be adjusted whilst seated.

The picture is perfect, but the sound a little less. it's a little sharp and I hear a little echo. For the rest a nice and beautiful vlog to watch James.

Correct, there is an 88 Yacht launching spring of 2021, making these 86 yachts extremely good value on the prepared market (around £5.9m new to this spec)

he says its a turbojet which i think is petrol the other model is a dieseljet
She’s a petrol engine, 40+ knots! The diesels are quite a bit heavier, so wouldn’t have worked on this project.

James,I always see it as odd, when a yacht length is quoted includes the rear platform, not really much to do with water line length. An exaggeration

What would be the charter revenue per day/week and running costs per week whilst on charter for this size / type boat
In the Western Med, you would be looking at €45-55k euro per week, plus Vat and APA (provisioning costs)

Hi Shaun, that’s an approx cost to remove the twin cabin, then build 2 twin bunk cabins, separate access door etc. It would probably be less than this, but would depend on material finishes.

I think half the people commenting on the sound need their hearing aids serviced or renewed. Sound was fine and not muffled even inside if the "dead cat" was still in place on the mic. Nice job.
REF : just check to see if it has an anti flicker function on it? So you don't get that banding when walking through the engine room. You might consider a small video light as a essential accessory, I use my own as an inspection light. th-cam.com/video/RxjnXB914qM/w-d-xo.html.
