  • Made from the 12'' version. Its not exactly like the original but its very close. Edit you may have seen this on other channels but this is where you heard it first. I don't make a single penny this. To the people that stole my video i'm not angry as i was the 1st person to make it and have many more views.
To everyone who's watched it this where you heard the unofficial instrumental version first.
    Lyrics Below.
    Sending you forget me nots
    To help me to remember
    Baby please forget me not
    I want you to remember
Those were the times we had
Sharing the joy that we thought would last
    Memories of love and affection
Never really was just like a dream
    Was it the simple things
That made me so crazy about you?
Was it your charm or your passion?
    It's not hard to believe
I love you and I need you so I'm
    Sending you forget me nots
    To help me to remember
    Baby please forget me not
    I want you to remember
    Sending you forget me nots
    To help me to remember
    Baby please forget me not
    I want you to remember
Did we give up too soon?
Maybe we needed just a little room
    Wondering how it all happened
Maybe we just need a little time
Though we did end as friends
Given the chance we could love again
    She'll always love you forever
    It's not hard to believe
I want you and I need you so I'm
    Sending you forget me nots
    To help me to remember
    Baby please forget me not
    I want you to remember
Sending you forget me nots (forget me nots)
    To help me to remember
Baby please forget me not (forget me not)
    I want you to remember
    Sending you forget me nots
    Baby please forget me not
Good times we had (sending you forget me nots)
    They weren't so bad
What a life we shared (baby please forget me not)
    Pretty baby I still care
    Sending you forget me nots
    To help me to remember
    Baby please forget me not

From Wikipedia: "Forget Me Nots" is a song co-written and performed by American R&B musician Patrice Rushen. The song appears on Rushen's seventh album Straight from the Heart (1982). Making a radical shift in her music, Rushen would continue to harness the particular style of this record all through to her next album Now (1984). Originally deemed by record label executives as a "flop", the song became a Top 40 pop (#23), Top 5 R&B (#4), and Top 5 dance (#2) hit on the Billboard charts and is the hit for which she is best known.
The single's success culminated in Rushen scoring her first nomination for Best Female R&B Vocal Performance at the 1983 Grammy Awards. Rushen had a number of songs on the R&B and Dance charts, but "Forget Me Nots" was her only US Top 40 pop hit and ranked #85 on VH1's 100 Greatest One Hit Wonders of the 1980s in 2009.
The bassline is particularly recognizable, and was performed on the record by session bass player Freddie Washington.
The classic tenor saxophone solo was played by Los Angeles session player and recording artist, Gerald Albright. Albright also appears in the music video of the song.
The lyrics are from the point of view of one professing her longing for a rekindling with an ex-lover. She ruminates on the romance's end, and sends the lover forget-me-nots, a flower that since medieval times has been given and worn to symbolize enduring love despite absence or separation. Released April 2, 1982.

No one is stopping you from listening to and making music like that right now. The early 80s weren't that great. Especially with music there was far less to choose from, lots of really shitty pop music, proper high fi was unaffordable and finding people with the same taste in music as you super hard.

Nice, but you just jumped right into the action. With that initial "clap-clap" there is a 32 count with just keyboard and drum, telling you to get ready. Then that killer bass and "tweet tweet tweet" comes in saying get up, Get Up! You could have left that initial 32 count intro in. Trying to catch it right on that 33rd count was a bit awkward, but you did a great job. Forget Me Nots is really a great song and this version is good for karaoke, but have to say with Patrice Rushen this song is a masterpiece.

    • @jaggass
      @jaggass  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

I couldn't find a high enough quality version at the time. I suppose i could EQ that part and add it. What made me do instrumentals is that without the singer you can hear every instrument in more detail and love the sound of them. I do agree it's good for karaoke because it almost sounds genuine and cheap karaoke versions sound terrible.
