Hi Megha! So all my DIY and Thrift Flip videos are mostly done on old clothes.
And after i completed this thrift flip. I found out that this jeans doesnt fit me 😅
Therefore, no try on 🌝
But hope you got the idea how it processed and would look with different methods 🙌🏻🙂
Best way is to flip them inside out cause the thread that holds the jean material together is in the inside.

You can cut in round at the knee and that would look best and even works well 🙃🙌🏻

"Cotton denim" is not right word to use.
Instead let's take cotton pants!
I feel cotton fabric is not practically feasible for torn or distress therefore, I have never seen people go for cotton pant distress.

Hey! I would suggest you can go with applying funky patches all over one side of the jeans.. This you can get it from amazon. Or else distress a big patch over there and patch a waster fabric from inside, if you feel no so comfortable to wear big distressed patch jeans.
