Being a family oriented society, eating out is usually done by family and that is why the menu would have bundle meals that would be for a family or group of friends to share 😊 Maybe Kev would try giving you a potted rose plant for valentine's day? 😆 at least you can try to grow it even after valentine's ☺️
But let's not forget that these same restaurants that offer group portions would also offer good for 1 to 2 pesons and would package them as solo meals. Makati, BGC and similar CBDs are catering to the people working in the corporate world and employees needing to take lunch or dinner breaks do not go for sharing every day they are working so mostly they would choose solo meals. I know that for a fact because I have worked for decades. Also it will not hurt fury anyone to ask if they have portions that are good for 1 to 2 pesons.

Kenny Rogers Roasters have actually thrived well here in Asia than in the US, surprisingly. From what I read there are few in the US but have been growing well here in Asia.

Isn't TESCO a brand from the UK? I've seen their products at Rustan's Supermarket. The one at Glorietta Mall also has a range of cheeses (in wheels) and gourmet foodstuff.

That’s interesting. Most Filipino dishes are served family style meaning that it is supposed to be shared with your companions. While everyone orders a dish( always different), everyone gets to taste a variety of dishes and ends up a cheaper way to eat( without paying the buffet price). And left -overs are usually packed up even in very high-end restaurants.
It's really similar to Max's except that Savory's chicken has that Chinese scent and flavor. If you've tasted Peking Duck, that's the taste of their Chicken.

I went to a Kenny Rodgers Roasters in The Philippines, and the food was rubbish, mostly cold when it arrived, my girlfriend had a big argument with the manageress....I like Gilligans restaurants, and one of the best meals I had in the Philippines was at Santouka casual ramen dining, a Japanese restaurant in Ayala malls Serin, Tagaytay.

I also like Pollo Loco which is Mexican so it comes with Salsa. And of course our Bacolod Chicken Inasal (not Mang Inasal) which is in the top 10 of Taste Atlas' best chicken dishes in the world.
