I have the P-40, and was pleasantly surprised at well it flew, and very well balanced. Wish mine came in that style box, mine was a smaller box, with the wings and fuselage separate, had to put the wings on, with the provided screws and screwdriver. I had to use glue with the front screw, cause there was nothing for the screw to bite on. Great video.
Yes I like the paint work on it too and I do like my bigger box makes it easier to store and transport
10:04 "'Cause they are small, they get away from you quick." The self-level mode is a lifesaver indeed. Saved me countless times, and it makes the model a joy to fly, even in a rather brisk wind. Great review. Cheers!

Just not happy with the shallow 45 degree bank angles on most Xk aircraft. I think the Eachine and Volantex bird get up to 70 degrees, making for sharper turning in tight areas.
There is a defect in the design. The gap in the elevator is too narrow for the rudder to move freely in. It can only move 5-7 degrees before contacting the elevator, possibly binding one or both and causing a crash. I trimmed mine out so I can get at least 25 degrees of free rudder motion without contacting the elevator.

Got mine a week ago fly's great got six charges before I nose dived into the ground and broke plastic drive cog. Ordered a new one on AliExpress heaps of part's available.

@@blowy48flyrc All good, is my first 4 channel and I got 60 minutes out of first. Was testing a tiny battery. Tryed with several sizes batteries and no issue! Think just pilot error lol

@@blowy48flyrc Ohhh i did not expect that it's hard to do stunts with this XK P40... When i try to do rolls the plane went into the ground, umm..maybe it is the case of practice Hehe.....

Hey Blow Fly. You're in Oz I think - here's a fun fact. CV V is a P-40 of 3 Squadron RAAF who were based in North Africa and Italy during WW2. The Squadron re-equipped with Mustangs in mid-late 1944. They were part of the Desert Air Force who used red spinners for the whole war. I customed my Eachine P-51 to become CV . I have a vid on my channel ...

Just had a look at your video. The plane looks great in the camouflage colours. I've RAAFed mine as well but its going to need a better paint job at some stage. The Eachine mini Corsairs could also be done in RNZAF colours, look pretty cool.
I have noticed with all of these XK Brand Planes that they fly better in High Rates.
I want an Eachine version of this

We'll be interested in your thoughts on this 1 after you've run it for a bit Blowy. After the XK A160, JJRC W01 and re-branded Eachine Mini Wing Dragon folks have got a bit leery of WLToys/XK/JJRC stuff.

A few modders are keen to stick a Volantex/Eachine Mini Warbirds brick in it. As you have found the wing is easy to remove to get at the board on this.
All our mini planes are doing great maybe a couple of minor adjustments I show in my videos. Xk cub a160 still flying great

The XK cub has the rudder mix so it flys great

Mine are broken after crashing into a wall, Because.. I did not know how to use the rudder in the turn, so my P40 heading to the wall and rush it.. Then the gear on the motor has broken and i don't think it could fly again, i am a beginner and this is my first plane ever..
Sorry to hear you crashed it. Yes it's weird that there's no rubber mix like on the other XK planes

Would you recommend this one over the Eachine P51?
Hard to say you may have to go on price and availability or likes but Both about the same size and the eachine p51 is faster, can buy with 2 or3 batteries and can bind to multiple protocol radio. Hope this helps
