Going through the main running costs you can expect with a 2019 Mercedes C43 AMG, along with general costs for other AMG vehicles like the A45 / CLA 45 and C63. These include road tax, fuel, servicing and tires.
It's nowhere near as bad as you might've thought!

Interesting with the tyres. I'm just hitting my first 10k miles with my c43 as it turns a year old and my two front tyres are almost fully worn. I've got a decent amount left on the rears. My car came with the pirelli p zero's from factory (uk car also). I'd of thought the rears would go first due to 70% power the the rear but I guess the fronts take alot with this setup too.

I’m really impressed by Mercedes entry level AMG’s. cars that aren’t too loud, luxurious and seemingly blend and don’t seek immense eyes all over. The A35 is perfect for me who just wants a pocket rocket nobody notices.

Great video which highlights for me how the government rob motorists. The tax goes on emissions but then if the car list price exceeds 40k they’ll charge you more???...also how can the dealers do the servicing cheaper on a service plan than paying on the day? In m6 book there do8ng the same job and half the time the6 don’t do much!...Why will people pay obscene money for car servicing and yet gas fitters and sparkys are frowned upon at a third of the mechanics hourly rate???

Interesting video. To compare to my C55 estate (5.4L N/A v8) which has similar power output I can get up to 34 mpg on a long trip and around 20 around town. It looks like it isn't so much the engine tech that wins you some fuel economy but the transmission as I only have a 5 speed developed in the 90s...

Nice video man. I'm debating wether to buy a 2018 C63 Coupe, but then I think a newer model is coming out soon? Although it's said to lose the V8 masterclass. Wonder if that means the older ones might hold their value slightly better or not...

IF you are buying a 63, then you need a 507 edition with as much kit on as possible to retain it's value.
i have a standard, and in sport plus on a damp road she'll step out at the back
when i took it out for a test drive before buying, the showroom let us take it out on our own, my wife in the passenger seat.
we went onto a dual carriageway clear but for two cars in the distance. i hit the kickdown in 'comfort' mode, and for a second nothing happened..... then BANG! at the rear and the car hurled itself forward as if out of a catapult, my wife screamed out...
i told her to 'stop screaming', to which she replied 'the headrest just hit me at the back of my head' once i realised the headrest hadn't moved, i thought 'i'm having this.
now nigh on £600 tax and in sport plus with spirited driving i reckon that well into single figure mpg is attainable, and new set of rears every 5k miles it's not cheap, but i NEVER, NEVER stop smiling.
btw, i was considering a 43 at the time, but backed off over the crabbing issue, which at that time wasn't resolved.
