Mate what a fantastic video, that ending sequence particularly with the music really was brilliant. The few videos I edit make me appreciate your efforts even more. I think with every upload the content and quality continues to improve. Keep it coming! :-)
The production quality is absolutely insane. You're quickly becoming my favorite automotive TH-camr. Now, back to replacing my clutch master cylinder....
The production value has come along way and your content just keeps getting better. Another great Honda video with this one bro! I can’t even fathom how much fun it would have been to drive an S2K with a K24.
Beautiful! Great video, loved it. That’s one helluva car, Honda’s engineering back then was epic, nothing could compare - talk about race breeding. And it’s been taken a whole lot further here - an absolute credit to the engineering company
Your videos are getting better and better each time man 👍 the content is also really great. And last but not least a clear and good sounding voice will make or brake a video. You defo have the voice for this …. You remind me of clarkson sometimes in his early days 👌 great stuff mate 👍🍀
Hearty, been following ya fora bit and the vids are really good mate , keep it up. Im the bugger with the silver CL1 out makara/ ohariu road all the time. Its quite the sunday drive!
compare a stock k24 s2000 vs a stock f20c just with a shorter final drive, and you'll see that the actual torque at the wheels is not so different. High RPM + shorter gears > low rpm + longer gears. That's why F1 cars historically have pursued higher and higher RPM and not higher and higher torque figures.
Not really. It’s more about useable power. F1 cars don’t need torque. They idle at like 6000rpm. They have a very narrow powerband because that’s all they need but in turn are completely unusable on the street. A k24 makes more torque and thus is a lot more useable in the same way
Awesome video man, When your in Matamata or Tauranga area next and want to do a video on something different, Got a jzx100 Chaser Tourer v, your welcome to borrow..
K24A3/A2 should of been oem for the S2K. K20/24 T or SC would be hardcore for S2K if you wanted only Honda parts. Short final drive and that would put you 0-100km/h low 3s from a stop. Not bad for a inline 4. Fuel would be drinking like a Ferrari v12. Sold my k24 swap and moved onto inline 6 TT now.
hey bro just wanting to know what you do at honda? i've been working at a Mercedes dealership in hamilton in an entry level position and just want to know about your experiences in the automotive industry.
You didn't say anything truly incorrect about the bore vs. stroke of the F20 but the F22 is actually an under square design with a larger stroke than bore.
Theres only one solution ( if maintining it n/a) to F20C low torque, wich is a shorter final drive. Its only useful for track but its the solution. The 4.1fd stock is very long. A 4.7fd is perfect and the aceleration improoves greatly from this
Yes but for the same displacement an engine with a small bore and large stroke will have more torque. The larger stroke provides a bigger lever to act around the crankshaft. Basic physics
F20C has lotsa torque but only at 7,000 rpm and up. Ever notice how F1 and NASCAR cars leave the pits. Yes drive it like you stole it as the cops are on your tail.
Even at 7k it doesn't really... nothing like the K24. Besides, even if it did, the whole point of torque is that it comes in low so you don't have to work it.
I didn't hear where the power came on vs the original engine. Nothing about the torque difference. I feel like the presenter did a bunch of short shifting, Was that rewarding? I'll never know. Maybe it would be a good idea to start with a list of things that viewers might want to know. If you had, this video would appeal to people who are actually interested in doing a KA24 swap, and not just casual observers who never will. VROOM-VROOM KA SWAP= MEGA VIEWS AND $ FROM TH-cam. Or maybe you can improve, and provide useful content that still gets you "clicks".

Yeah man back when they actually innovated... There's a reason no one swaps an L15 turbo into these haha
This might be one of your best produced videos yet man. Keep it up!

K24 was made for the S2000, sounds amazing
Oh yeah for sure
Why did they put the bars on the rear glass?
Tbh I have no idea. Maybe a bit more rigidity?

That's because you are talking about a stock k24, wich it has no torque at all as well..
Hi mate, this sound perfect for an engine swap. How much does it cost to do this swap?
@@Snoopydoopy0 oh gee, quite a lot I imagine!
What no comparison video? What am I thinking it's no accord haha, good vid mate.
Haha yeah decided to do this one outright
@kiwicarlife what coil overs are you using? The stance and drop looks great!
Not sure sorry as this isn't my car
@KiwiCarLife find out for us
But you have to add a supercharger or turbo to get any big number on synonyms. Am I wrong?
“On synonyms?” What do you mean by that
Great video ausie, the k20 doesn't sound as good as the f20c though 😔
Yeah I guess not
Awesomeness 🤌🏼
Thankss
I own an s2000 and I own a k-swapped Civic so I know very well if you put the k-series in the s2k it's NUTS!
Yeah man!
What's with the bars over the rear window? Just to stop hardtop flexing and cracking the plexi window?
Must be?
Wonderful!

Which other engine can swap to s2k except K24A2/3?
Plenty, have a google of some other crazy swaps
The forbidden LS swap and 2JZ is what I've seen so far.
Yesss!!
Yeeezzz
Epic video
Thanks!
So it has 10 more pounds of torque. Intake and headers will do that
10 more than what?
Never mind the 2.2 liter only came to the states and japan i think you guys only have the 2.0
@@chinchy111 yeah, but the k24 makes way more torque than the F22C

@@KiwiCarLife Don't feel bad. I have owned an AP2 for years and I missed that at first also.

Lovely vehicle
0-100? How fast is the thing?
Hmm maybe low 5s? The k24 is basically stock so it's not making huge power. Gears and weight make the biggest difference
do u know the wheels spec ? width and offset ??
I don't sorry - quite aggressive tho! Definitely 17's, from there I'm not sure. Maybe 9 wide and 35 offset?
17X9 +45 all round
Thats agressive. Im thinking 17x9 +50

Doesnt solve anything except your pocket. F series is far superior

How?

F20c sounds so much better
Yes and no, they both sound pretty good imo
I wish I never bought a k24 swapped s2000. You say it solves all problems. All it has done is give me a bunch of problems.
HAHAH
The cylinder moving little has nothing to do with torque. Torque is all about displacement
Yes but for the same displacement an engine with a small bore and large stroke will have more torque. The larger stroke provides a bigger lever to act around the crankshaft. Basic physics
The red accord 🥺😢
What a beast that was...

Yes
