No, it's a straight 4/4 but the crash cymbal at the beginning is on the AND of one. The riff starts (4) u & u 1 u &. Once you have catched that it's not that difficult. But don't misunderstand me. These kids are awesome.

I'm a 50 year old grown man watching the umpteenth video by these kids, tears rolling down my face, knowing how much work went in to all this. Musicianship is a dying craft, but there's hope for the future of music with kids like this! Throw away the computers, and pick up a guitar! This is what fine art looks like! ART is important! If there was away to re-allocate every "thumbs-up" I've ever given on TH-cam to these kids I would, I was wrong to think the thumbs up I gave before were worthy. They, clearly, were NOT. THIS, THIS, is what thumbs-up are for.
I'm 14 and there are only two band kids in my class (but like half of us are musicians...mostly classical) I originally played cello but I fucking hated it so I'm switching to the bass guitar right now...I hope that rock will become a thing again so I can find friends...and maybe join a band. I mean....punk rock and metal are making a comeback again
Having listened to this song for nearly fifty years, I can say this is a good cover, especially for children. Strangely, Black Dog is only 4 chords repeated over and over yet it is hard to do well. Sometimes Zeppelin would play this in concert and you couldn't recognize it. Little Miss Plant has a powerful voice, the critical bass part was played well, and I liked the rawness of the guitar.
And the drummer !!! … plays so well. A stand out, imo. I listened to JB straight afterwards and recommend anyone to do the same. Then you will realise just how good this kid is!

I'm now 60 years old. I recently hopped in my car and drove downtown. When I turned the key Led Zeppelin 1 started up at "11". So I rolled the windows down and turned some heads. Why not. Old guy has fun to ancient music. My daughter had borrowed the car and left the CD in the player with the volume up, lol... Kids these days aren't stupid...

I figured out why these youngsters are so good. I have now watched several of their videos and realized what this is really about. They are students in a music school where they are getting taught firsthand how to perform their parts. These ones are the top students, the ones who actually practice at home and develop real music skills. If you keep working at it under tutelage, you get really good at it! That why they are so young yet so good. The lead singer I know is taking vocal lessons because she's too young to know who Led Zeppelin is on her own plus I doubt she understands what the lyrics actually mean. She looks 10 but could be 12 or even 13. Very good band but they are not a garage band or local house band. They are the "all stars" from a local rock music school.

I figured out why these youngsters are so good. I have now watched several of their videos and realized what this is really about. They are students in a music school where they are getting taught firsthand how to perform their parts. These ones are the top students, the ones who actually practice at home and develop real music skills. If you keep working at it under tutelage, you get really good at it! That why they are so young yet so good. The lead singer I know is taking vocal lessons because she's too young to know who Led Zeppelin is on her own plus I doubt she understands what the lyrics actually mean. She looks 10 but could be 12 or even 13. Very good band but they are not a garage band or local house band. They are the "all stars" from a local rock music school.
OMG it's such a breath of fresh air to see young kids playing music older than there parents and even get the tunes sooo spot on.. Great job kids God Bless

They rock!!! You have to consider their age, & they are all individually bang on in their instruments of choice, the hardest instrument to master? Is the voice!!! She rock’s!!!. I’d be proud to have been in such a band, in my early teenage years! Good luck to them all!
