I love that those people stopped to listen. It's good to enjoy life sometimes and just escape from the hectic rat race. Music is one of the keys to a great life.
If anyone hasn't noticed, that pedal thing he presses with his foot copies and plays back continuously the pieces of sound he makes with his electric violin, so that every time after he presses that pedal, more and more sound is stacked on top of each other. This creates the effect where one person sounds like a group.
jason marroquin Doesn't matter if no one asked, he's letting people know in case they want to. Your argument could be used against you, in the sense of no one asked you how you knew that.
those who know good music only need three seconds to recognise that its going to be good, just like i clicked "like" afer the first 3 seconds, im sure a lot of people did too!
This guy is just EXCELLENT! He's basically put on an orchestra performance by himself, on a street corner, and deserves every dollar they dropped for him. Keep it up man, chase the dream.
I don't care if it was freezing cold out, if I saw him playing on the streets I would stop, watch and listen to him play until he is done completely. It's so beautiful and I love it
Here's a tip 4 all you people scrolling through the comments: if a street performer's performance causes you to stop and listen, Always tip them. Don't be an asshole and leave without a tip,
Aki Wayne Ukonmaanaho A oi without drugs people wouldnt come up with things you have today HAHAHAHA how do you think things advanced int he world i know people ddnt get smarter HAHAHAHA the drugs they took opened more then they could seee to make things HAHAHAHAHA they didnt sit there saying o man it would be awesome if i invented a light bulb that would light up the whole world and then we could have computers and tvs and laptops and cars and this would of been in the 1200s HAHAHAHAHA THE END :)

I don't know why but every time i hear an amazing violinist play, the amazing sound makes me a bit emotional, my daughter is learning to play the violin in school and is getting really good at it, this man is amazing !
who is this guy when i heard him I cried, my twelve year old daughter that plays the violin will not practice, I really appreciate his dedication to his art.
+Ingrid Ledbetter You shouldn't force your daughter to play an instrument she doesn't like. My parents forced me to play the piano and it screwed up our relationship.
+Ingrid Ledbetter no offence but when my parents forced me to play the recorder for grades and not as something i did willfully ( i practiced when they weren't in) not only did it screw up my relationship with my dad even further, i stopped playing an instrument and it is something i will always regret. please , don't force your daughter to play , you may discover you become the reason that she stops playing music if you push her too far. ( i once loved to play music ) (as of edit) i am now 16 and have yet to pick up an instrument again.
Don’t think about the bad things in life, think about the good things that can come from bringing people together to enjoy life like this beautiful music that came from this man that probably stays positive.
This is his regular job, actually. :) He travels the west coast up and down. I was a street musician for some time, as well (on the east coast of the U.S.-- mostly northeast). In many places, you have to have a permit (i.e. Harvard Square on the east coast, Provincetown on the tip of the cape in Massachusetts and in the subways). I used it as practice time (solo act) playing my acoustic / electric guitar and sang to get ready for my night gigs with my band. I could sometimes bring in a few hundred dollars a day. You have to be tenacious and committed (and have some talent). It can be quite enjoyable when you are young and can travel and still lift heavy equipment like amps. It's a bit harder when you want to "settle down" and have a family (which is why I am now a doctor), but still play and sing occasionally for fun. :)
On the streets, I played mostly my originals -- world beat, blues, eclectic, jazz, rock. I played mostly in the Boston area and even had a permit to play in Provincetown (on the cape in Massachusetts). Sometimes I played in Philly (my hometown). I played alone as a street musician during the day, and then I traveled at night with my band to play other paid gigs. I also worked as a sound engineer in a studio and got paid to be a backup vocalist on albums that many other musicians made. It was a lot of fun in my 20's. :)
Roseshel Garriott Wow. How exciting. I'm sure you must have lots of stories to tell. You were a brave and tenacious young woman. You should upload some of your music. Interesting lady, Shelly girl. :-) Kudos para tu!
This man is talented, a good musician can touch your soul with his music and this guy can definitely touch your soul. The people who stop to listen appreciates good music and they know they are in the presence of a future superstar.
Street performers can have such a jovial presence. Thank you street performers of Earth for enchanting the streets on Earth with peace and music. Thanks
+guan tjeniuo i tell you why. it's a nice tune and he definitely can play ist but the background he records gets hearable out of tune to his playalong. and people really hate dissonance when they hear violin. but most pople get charmed by the tune and his appearance and don't hear all the miss tones any more. but hey i don't dislike it it's a darin show he's putting on there.
I'm sure you have heard many compliments and hope mine doesn't come in the same package. I am like many others a fan! I just wanted you to know that I listen to your music all the time and helped me through tough times. Continue being amazing!

jason marroquin Doesn't matter if no one asked, he's letting people know in case they want to. Your argument could be used against you, in the sense of no one asked you how you knew that.

I love when violin players move with the music, because I like to think that they're so into it they don't even realize how it affects their bodies
I agree with you 110 %, I love watching the way they move there body's how much there action ' s of there motions change with each string they play .in facted it's shows just how the person the violin and the music become one in this rare moment. amazing. ..

DO NOT FORCE YOUR DAUGHTER TO PLAY. She may not like it and it will screw over your relationship with her later.
+Crafted Circle I can testify that it can screw up your relationship with your child. like me with my dad.
Bryce Anderson I think

Don’t think about the bad things in life, think about the good things that can come from bringing people together to enjoy life like this beautiful music that came from this man that probably stays positive.
