I was in a New Year’s Eve service about 20 minutes away from dream church Atlanta at the arK which is a Christian club and they played swag surfing at our event as well but they replaced the lyrics with a 1K phew song lyrics and it matched up really well and we were in there having a grand old time being edified by a words of a really good Christian hip-hop artist. I've been to the Dream Center of Atlanta a handful of times while traveling. I can tell you that it was THE MOST hyped service I've ever been too. If you want a gospel music concert experience, go there, but if you want solid Biblical based teaching, that's not it. All the times I went the message heavily leaned toward prosperity, how to get more, be more, etc. The pastor would get a word that someone was going to be financially blessed or someone's business was going to take off. And there was a heavy emphasis on speaking in tongues and that you NEEDED to do it right then and there or otherwise you were resisting the spirit. It's sad because with the level of talent there it could be great, but the leadership needs to come back to the simple message of Jesus being all we need.

As someone who is Assyrian and apart of the Assyrian Church of the East, I’ve never seen this before. Because it’s a more ethnic church and our mass is in Aramaic we don’t play any music. I’m in the youth group and when we play music we play it outside the church because it’s culturally seen as disrespectful to play it inside and we only play cultural songs that go with our cultural dances. I really pray these American churches change because it’s a shame that non Christians see this and think this is the truth.

I've been to the Dream Center of Atlanta a handful of times while traveling. I can tell you that it was THE MOST hyped service I've ever been too. If you want a gospel music concert experience, go there, but if you want solid Biblical based teaching, that's not it. All the times I went the message heavily leaned toward prosperity, how to get more, be more, etc. The pastor would get a word that someone was going to be financially blessed or someone's business was going to take off. And there was a heavy emphasis on speaking in tongues and that you NEEDED to do it right then and there or otherwise you were resisting the spirit. It's sad because with the level of talent there it could be great, but the leadership needs to come back to the simple message of Jesus being all we need.
They just gave him a platform to try and validate his reasoning behind it...Smh

I started homeschooling my daughter almost 3 years ago. We really have keep over cities and countries covered in prayer. May God call in the lost sheep. because Jesus will return and those called to preach and teach will answer for whatever they've done to the sheep 🐑

The word of God is clear: "don't have any part with the deeds of darkness, rather expose them." Listening to secular music on your own time is one thing. But as a pastor... bringing it into the House of the Lord, that's supposed to be your service, you're supposed to be shepharding the flock! They don't need their minds corrupted by worldly things at church when they can get plenty of that literally anywhere else, they need to be equipped, encouraged, trained up. And God deserves genuine worship, not trash.

As someone who is Assyrian and apart of the Assyrian Church of the East, I’ve never seen this before. Because it’s a more ethnic church and our mass is in Aramaic we don’t play any music. I’m in the youth group and when we play music we play it outside the church because it’s culturally seen as disrespectful to play it inside and we only play cultural songs that go with our cultural dances. I really pray these American churches change because it’s a shame that non Christians see this and think this is the truth.
