If this little clip doesn't sell some amps, I don't know what would. Sister amp really sounded killer, great playing, and that guitar sounded killer too... a Cali? Recording came out great too. Wonder if anyone noticed the SDE-3000's inputs pegged in the red, funny.
-Bea and Pete : We love new Victory , REVV and Marshall studio series. -Dave : I will show you some new stuff from Friedman. -Bea and Pete : woooww , augghh...., holy shi.... We need more videos from Andertons with these amps for sure.
Well that was pretty much my reaction when I first played through a JJ. Played many great sounding amps but with the Friedman I never want to stop playing.
Love this video Sammy is such a brilliant guitarist Rabeas and Pete's reactions to his playing and the amazing tones Dave puts in to his amps is priceless
Spectacular sounds indeed! Please don't make us wait for the 20 watt versions too long Dave! Of course that's wishful thinking, but an obvious progression of more exciting things to come from Friedmnan. Rock on!
True, though Runts can be found around a grand second hand, probably all the amp most of us need. Certainly not cheap but not totally out of reach either.
Hand wired elite amps are always gonna cost big money. One thing refreshing about Dave Friedman (I think anyways) is that he will flat out tell you Its gonna cost you! He owns it. One thing also, I am a nobody from the Canadian west, sent an email to the help desk with a very specific question on a Suday morning, and when I got back from lunch, there was a response from Dave himself. He also requested more information by contacting me, when I really stumped myself and the local guys with a super complicated routing question regarding my complicated pedal setup. Yes, you could say I paid the price of admission when I purchased a Smallbox Combo, pricey but WOW, what an amp and what a devastating combo amp, but try and get an answer from another well known manufacturer of things in the modeler realm. I tell you what it is: "check the forums".
They are not accessible, but they are a sensible investment in terms of personal satisfaction if not monetary. The way I see it, every other amp I've tried have always had something even better competition that I might want to upgrade to at one point. Since I got my original Dirty Shirley I don't feel that way. Like most people here I watch way too many guitar videos on youtube. But the only amp videos I ever watch any more is the Friedman stuff, just out of curiosity to see what he's up to this year. Because the DS isn't my current amp, it's my final amp.
Marshall is like Harley Davidson now, a lifestyle brand more than anything. Other companies have picked up the slack, reward them with your business the next time you shop
Nobody is making better custom amps for the consumer market than Friedman. I had the pleasure of trying out a total factory model a few years back and, whilst I went for an EVH in the end for wanting the mad gain, I've never heard an amp quite as beautifully punch through the room as a Friedman.
@BLOGAN BURGESS I agree. Marshall lost its way some years back. I met Jim several times, he had a powerful handshake like no other man. He was very down to earth.
So true....I mean everything the guy builds is just a tone machine. The best thing is, Dave actually listens to players and customers. Most of the differences in his amps are a result of giving people what they ask for. They are high quality, hand wired and made in the USA. Yes they are expensive, but you get what you pay for. I really believe these amps will be heirlooms one day.
Dave destroyed it this year. The Twin Sister is a great concept and the Jake amp is a new classic. That high gain mod on channel 2 totally sounds like Bark at the Moon. Also, reminiscent of Warren de Martini. Then it has the Smallbox Plexi channel and a JCM 800. He pulled the 80s from the grave. Totally sick. That amp is baller.
Adie Cummings I have been trying to pause the video over and over to sort it out. It looks like a mini BE 100 Deluxe with the color of it and the knobs. I have been watching other NAMM videos too in order to see if someone else asked the question and got an answer.
He does Marshall better than Marshall. Yet his amps still have his unique tonality and vibe. I wish there was a vendor that had all of his amps to test.
Me: Honey....can we talk about refinancing the house? Pretty please?....Geezus but those amps all sound ludicrously good. Good enough for Mr. Steve Stevens and Mr. Jake E. Lee I guess they're good enough for little ol me....Wow....
Best amps in the business been saying it for a few years. Dont know how he does it. Although Dave looks more and more unhealthy any time i see him on youtube, i hope hes alright!
I have the original shirley and my girl Makes fun of me all the time for the faces I make when I play it...... Shes like why do u do that? They don't understand..... It's not an intentional thing..... When I play some crunchy Angus riffs on it my face just twists up and contorts cuz it sounds so beefy and raunchy and delicious
Thanks for having me in the video guys. Turned out awesome. So great to meet you Rabea!!!
Great playing brother, it was a pleasure to listen to.
Most excellent playing my dude!
If this little clip doesn't sell some amps, I don't know what would. Sister amp really sounded killer, great playing, and that guitar sounded killer too... a Cali? Recording came out great too. Wonder if anyone noticed the SDE-3000's inputs pegged in the red, funny.
You're a beast man! An absolute beast.
You know you're doing well when Bea compliments your playing. Nice dude
-Bea and Pete : We love new Victory , REVV and Marshall studio series.
-Dave : I will show you some new stuff from Friedman.
-Bea and Pete : woooww , augghh...., holy shi....
We need more videos from Andertons with these amps for sure.
haha LMFAO!!!!
Well that was pretty much my reaction when I first played through a JJ. Played many great sounding amps but with the Friedman I never want to stop playing.
Dave makes some bad ass amps for sure.
If Jerry Cantrell and Bill Kelliher trust this guy to make their amps... that’s about all the confirmation I need.
I Love all Cantrell gear... he haves a really good taste
Friedman is just killing it year after year. Everything he touches drips with great tone
Love this video Sammy is such a brilliant guitarist Rabeas and Pete's reactions to his playing and the amazing tones Dave puts in to his amps is priceless
Wow, that Steve Stevens signature amp is incredible!!
Dave Friedman...you are truly a GIFT to guitar players everywhere! Your amps...your amps...UNREAL!😎🎸👍🏼
“Your job’s done, go away now” savage but true.
I am not normally a 'high gain' man, but I love those amps, so musical
They sounded amazing! Great playing Sammy. Awesome.
Spectacular sounds indeed! Please don't make us wait for the 20 watt versions too long Dave! Of course that's wishful thinking, but an obvious progression of more exciting things to come from Friedmnan. Rock on!
They all make the sound I wanna hear. Best amp maker of all time
Yeah man, he is up there for sure. Dave is the real deal.
I don't think I have ever heard better sounding amps.
agreed...for the heavy rock thing I feel dave beats diesel and marshall and bogner...he owns THAT sound
Evh 51503
Wow, just wow. Dave’s amps sound so killer. Seems like they actually sound even better with the gain at lower levels. They really open up.
Friedman, DrZ, and Two rock, are all amazingly sounding amps. Too bad they’re not easily accessible financially.
True dat
@QLYDEThe Kemper's going to good the used market with the resurgence of quality tube driven heads. You're right!
True, though Runts can be found around a grand second hand, probably all the amp most of us need. Certainly not cheap but not totally out of reach either.

Because the DS isn't my current amp, it's my final amp.
I spent about 15 minutes in the Friedman room testing those amps at NAMM this year. They were INSANE!!!
Outstanding tones!!! Friedman amps just flat out rock - period.
I’m spent...
Meanwhile over at Marshall: YO WE’RE REISSUING THE AFD100....... AS A BLUETOOTH SPEAKER
Marshall is like Harley Davidson now, a lifestyle brand more than anything. Other companies have picked up the slack, reward them with your business the next time you shop
"Claimer: Faces were melted in this video."
These amps are beasts!!! Love the tones!
awesome
my jj100 has been my favorite ever since the initially released it
Nobody is making better custom amps for the consumer market than Friedman. I had the pleasure of trying out a total factory model a few years back and, whilst I went for an EVH in the end for wanting the mad gain, I've never heard an amp quite as beautifully punch through the room as a Friedman.
Please, please stock the Twin Sister!
Super compressed .. everything sound so clear!
These amps sound killer, cant wait to download me Friedman profiles for my Kemper ;)
It will be a pale facsimile of the real deal...,
Dave is a monster amp builder
Oh my those amps ooze the sweetness.
That Jake E. Lee amp sounds stellar. The older I get the more I like a big open defined sound which also has a lot of hair. Dave we salute you!
some of the best sounding amps money can buy! yeah there pricey but the tones are insane
All three new amps are fantastic
From what I've heard the Jake E. Lee amp sounds incredible. Best amp i've heard in a long time
Hey Dave, hey Sammy :) Just got the Dirty Shirley Pedal, it is awesome!
Killer sounds, man... Kudos to Dave.
That JEL amp is the schizzle. Its more open than the others.
Am I the only one that thinks Dave lost some weight? He's looking great and still making some of the best amps in the world!
U are the only one was just hoping he doesn’t have health issues anytime soon
I always look forward to your videos!! Thanks for this!!
Amazing sounding amps.
Whoa! All 3 amps sound crazy good. That firetruck Red, Jake E. Lee...Ouf!
Jim Marshall would definitely approve. Mr Friedman is the King of Amps.
@BLOGAN BURGESS I agree. Marshall lost its way some years back. I met Jim several times, he had a powerful handshake like no other man. He was very down to earth.
I have the JJ 20W. I no longer turn on my JCM800 studio. Honestly the best 20W I've ever heard
THAT WAS SOME MEAN PLAYING ON SOME KILLER SOUNDING AMPS -------------------- DAMN!!!!!!!!!!!
How come Sammy always sounds so damn good? Great tone in dem fingers.
Rabea!! yeah from L.A. Big fans here. See you at Namm 2027 or whatever . Ha. Peace and cheers! mtw and 99.
SICK demo
When you take a step back and look at the entire Friedman catalog... He's undoubtedly building the best amps in the world these days. Good God
So true....I mean everything the guy builds is just a tone machine. The best thing is, Dave actually listens to players and customers. What are these amps. Best NAMM segment this year
Truly are some of the best amps out there
Not sure whether I loved Sammy's nonchalant "dad made me play in front of my aunt" look or the sound of the Dirty Shirley the most?
Mr Friedman really knows about amps. All sound somehow great.
Dave is a talented dude!
the friedman amp booth...my favorite place at namm 2020
Love the sounds of these amps. Just out of Interest what happened to Splawn Amps? They did some really nice stuff similar to the Friedman amps
Can't wait for Kemper profile packs of these new amps. :)
Hopefully Friedman soon gets into the mini pedal market.. A mini Be-OD would fly off the shelves.
Orange and Friedman are my thing
So, no Friedman guitars tour?
Its my dream to have a Friedman amp
Man That Was Killer 👍👍🎶🎶🎸Your Amps Rock.
Im a new Friedman fan!! wow, that Jake E Lee head is awesome@!!
dave's a wildman. I love it!
I wonder what that all black amp was, sat on top of the rack system. PT20 maybe...?!
Not sure but I wanted to hear that one!
I hope it’s a BE20. Has the same knobs and look
GeauxSaints121 It would be amazing if it is. An updated Pink Taco of sorts or something similar.
Just found the answer in another video. Wildwood Guitars Edition of the JJ Jr amp. Looks killer!!
@@ronniehighnote6559 good work detective... 👍
Great great sounds! Does the Twin Sister have double inputs? That’d be inconvenient. Or is the second cable for the footswitch?
input and footswitch
The JEL Signature is gnarly. Plexi SLP to 800 to boosted 800/DSL tones in one box! That would sound killer.
exactly that Plexi side nails that classic tone.
omfg thats my amp
Dave destroyed it this year. The Twin Sister is a great concept and the Jake amp is a new classic. That high gain mod on channel 2 totally sounds like Bark at the Moon. Also, reminiscent of Warren de Martini. Then it has the Smallbox Plexi channel and a JCM 800. He pulled the 80s from the grave. Totally sick. That amp is baller.
When is the rusty trombone or the red parrot coming out? Who named these things anyway???
The names are fantastic
Man that new SS.
Can anyone identify that guitar the dude’s using? Sounds amazing. He’s got great feel.
2:16. aaaaaaaahhhh. That's the sound yeah. Super popular. Greenbacks or not. ha.
Omg I want any!
Is nobody wondering what that Mini Head is on top of the rack ? Looks like a mini BE Deluxe or Phil X !
Wildwood Guitars exclusive amp called the WW20, or something like that. It'll be a killer amp.
th-cam.com/video/OySObFftAMU/w-d-xo.html
I want one of each......
Any idea what the small amp on top off the amp racks is ?
Adie Cummings I have been trying to pause the video over and over to sort it out. It looks like a mini BE 100 Deluxe with the color of it and the knobs. I have been watching other NAMM videos too in order to see if someone else asked the question and got an answer.
Amazing!!!
What's the little head on top of the middle rack?
That Jake amp 😀
What speaker cab is being used
I really think Friedman is at the top of the amp game.... Just stellar!
Price tags?
Monster tones, monster pricing...😂
the JEL !
Jake E. Lee sig.... derp... I'm dead. So amazing
He does Marshall better than Marshall. Yet his amps still have his unique tonality and vibe. I wish there was a vendor that had all of his amps to test.
If you’re ever in the Detroit area check out Motor City Guitar. They have a big selection of Friedman amps.
Man, those are SICK! And all for just $250 right? $300 maybe? lol
Is Sammy playing a Friedman Cali or something else? Seems thick!
And now, I'm looking for my jean jacket with the ball pen "tattoos" and all the metal studs.
Me: Honey....can we talk about refinancing the house? Pretty please?....Geezus but those amps all sound ludicrously good. Good enough for Mr. Steve Stevens and Mr. Jake E. Lee I guess they're good enough for little ol me....Wow....
I own an orange amp, maybe its time for a red one......
"This man knows the filth." No shit, man. Wow.
sounds decent ...
I want that Jake E. Lee amp... but i'm afraid it's gonna be around €4000,- or something and that's double my budget...
Bring back the Atomica!
Ceriatone Molecular has you covered on that.
Should drink some danish beer
Just listening on TH-cam with good speakers I had multiple tonegasms in my ear pussies... I need a Friedman!
Best amps in the business been saying it for a few years. Dont know how he does it.
Although Dave looks more and more unhealthy any time i see him on youtube, i hope hes alright!
The Jake E. Lee amp is a work of art! tone of my wet dreams xD
I wonder if they've been checked out by marty?.
Where’s Sammy Bolle…oh there he is.
