This was our grandfather. Before he passed we asked him to record his history in the military which included this one. This must have been an interview he did at the 60th anniversary of Pearl Harbor. It was amazing to see the reception he received at every place we went on Oahu. He is a true American hero.
The first attack on the US - and of courste the first guy to fight back is of Viking stock. Odin and Thor must have been waiting for him to join their table in Valhal.
