  • “I was surprised the neighbors didn’t call the cops!!” In this episode Tez talks about how she got so loud during this birth she didn’t even realize that kind of volume could come out of her!! After her last two births were ‘ecstatic’ and ‘dreamy’ she thought this fourth birth would be a breeeeze. She was wrong. Listen to her chat about how her lionessing, sleep deprived, physically spent, back labouring, air bnbing self got through her latest birth. From Paris Hilton binges to a never-before-seen placenta, a hospital transfer & some major first birth parallels, this episode covers some ground!! You’ll learn about how to prep for a homebirth, what to do in a situation where baby is posterior and hear the story of how Sarah helped Tez calm the wobbles as she started filming her dream job, Universals Studios’ The Fall Guy.

My fourth was also posterior, and I had no idea until during pushing. I pushed my first out in 30m, and my second and third were a few pushes, so I was thrown off by how long my fourth was taking. I think I pushed for 2 hours as hard as I possibly could. It was the most difficult thing ever. Tug of war with one of the nurses helped a lot. I was utterly exhausted afterwards. This was after being induced at 37w due to high bp, and they induced me on a Friday and she was born on a Sunday morning.

I had a posterior birth for my first baby and the back pain was so unbearable I opted for an epidural quite early on in my labour. I think if it had been my second birth I would have had more confidence to not have the epidural. Thanks for sharing your experience!

Somehow you birth feel so similar to mine, my baby’s head was tilted and turned to one side, and the contractions were so intense and painful so quickly, the back labor was so hard to deal with and I ended up having an epidural then stopped progressing at 6cm and ended up with a c section. But I totally see what you mean with working so much harder than you were expecting. It was my first birth, I really hope the next Ken will be better 😂😂

I was the miracle baby, my mum had a copper IUD, and she got pregnant with me, I was the 4th child, she was 38 at the time and she couldn’t get it removed until the birth but it didn’t cause any issues, and came out after me apparently. So yeah it can happen but the probability is super low. I also came out ginger unlike my siblings. 😂
