Very good loop tutorial. I have to confess I had to watch a few times because I kept getting distracted by the lovely little dress you were working on. A really super piece of sewing, the detail was so pretty and precise. A lucky little girl who got to wear it. 😊
Thank you for this. Tried to pull my dress off over my head and snapped the elastic buttonhole loop. This is exactlly what I was looking for to repair it.
Great idea I’ve got loads of embroidery thread so can match anything and not have to make fabric loops which are a pain I can now relax with a cup of tea and do my loop 👍🥰
This was a wonderful video. Thank you! I'm making McCall's 8069 lounge dress for myself and was looking for a technique for attaching the button at the neck and your video was super helpful and just what I was looking gor.
Thank you. This is just the information I was looking for. I just finished a flannel nightgown for our granddaughter and it needs this type of closure. Using embroidery floss to create the right colored loop is something I never thought of. Thanks again for this great hint!
That is a beautiful video. Your example on that exquisite little dress is masterful and inspiring. This tutorial is a great example of how care and attention to detail yields the best results. Thank you 👏💐💐
That was brilliant especially your idea of using embroidery floss, I have made the neatest buttonhole loop ever for a little slip I am making for a doll. Thanks very much for sharing your tips. The little dress you have made looks gorgeous
Try and be very mindful of pulling the thread straight away from the loop. :) You can hold the loop between your fingers to keep it flat while pulling the thread - sometimes that helps.
Hi I'm new to your channel.. Hope I can learn something to be able to use my sewing machine.. Watching from the Beautiful Tropical country of the Philippines 🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭

That was a great instructional demo. You made it so clear for me. Thank you. So I assume you can do the belt loops the same way??
yes, belt loops are done exactly the same. I usually match the thread color to the belt/sash color.
Thanks a lot
Thank you so much!
Thank you!!
I have problems with the loop wanting to twist on itself, how do you prevent that?
Keep tension on the working thread to prevent twisting.
