    Thank you so much from New Zealand! You made something that looks really hard, really easy, and I'm so happy with my button-hole loop 🙏🏼

    Very good loop tutorial. I have to confess I had to watch a few times because I kept getting distracted by the lovely little dress you were working on. A really super piece of sewing, the detail was so pretty and precise. A lucky little girl who got to wear it. 😊

    Great idea I’ve got loads of embroidery thread so can match anything and not have to make fabric loops which are a pain I can now relax with a cup of tea and do my loop 👍🥰

    This was a wonderful video. Thank you! I'm making McCall's 8069 lounge dress for myself and was looking for a technique for attaching the button at the neck and your video was super helpful and just what I was looking gor.

    Thank you for this. Tried to pull my dress off over my head and snapped the elastic buttonhole loop. This is exactlly what I was looking for to repair it.

    Thank you. This is just the information I was looking for. I just finished a flannel nightgown for our granddaughter and it needs this type of closure.
    Using embroidery floss to create the right colored loop is something I never thought of. Thanks again for this great hint!

      Try and be very mindful of pulling the thread straight away from the loop. :) You can hold the loop between your fingers to keep it flat while pulling the thread - sometimes that helps.

    That was a great instructional demo. You made it so clear for me. Thank you. So I assume you can do the belt loops the same way??

    • @kathyssewingstudio
      @kathyssewingstudio  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      yes, belt loops are done exactly the same. I usually match the thread color to the belt/sash color.

  • @liztrapp1089
    @liztrapp1089 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I have problems with the loop wanting to twist on itself, how do you prevent that?

    • @kathyssewingstudio
      @kathyssewingstudio  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Keep tension on the working thread to prevent twisting.
