    I always start when papering by sharpening my scissors with a little diamond file, a couple of strokes of the file makes a big difference even if the blade seem sharp.

    I’m guessing this isn’t this guy’s first rodeo! It’s amazing how many wallpapering videos out there do look like rookies.

    Thanks so much for all your videos. I was able to paper my first small room on the weekend :) Not perfect, need to fill in gaps and practice butting up!

    Nice vid mate, making it look simple! ….one question, what’s your PVA to water ratio?

    Thank you for the vid. Would I be able to just paint the walls without putting lining paper / wallpaper on?

    Get yourself a paste machine
    Brilliant for blown vinyl and lining especially
    Timing blown vinyl at an exact time is well over the top if anything needs longer , even more with no pattern , does not matter about stretching and less likely to bubble
    Also with a machine takes the stress out of the day
    Paper hanging is quite mentally taxing as you are continually thinking , measuring
    Just my thoughts

    Not an easy one this mate, especially with that paper, only saving grace no match pattern etc, 1St class job, not for the DIYer, well done 👌🏻👌🏻

    just in time for me to tackle my walls. Do you have any thoughts on paste the wall type paper vs traditional?

    • @nrosko
      @nrosko 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Also I don't really understand why you overlap the paper at the sides vs just butting up is this because the paper is at different angles?

    • @PaintingandDecorating
      @PaintingandDecorating  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Both okay the new papers can be easy to hang.. always paste the paper not the wall that's my method. Thanks

      @@nrosko overlap is the best way it creates a nice even look up the corner. Thanks
