- Sadly I couldn´t find much information on this march. Sure is, that it is a combination of "Heil dir im Siegerkranz" and the "Preußenlied". If you know more let me know!

Funny, but now stop i hate this kind of memes, italy was liberated during world war 2, Mussolini went under the protection of the nazis and the free italian people fought fascism, we haven't changed side we went in a civil war.

This march is very interesting. I like the fact that incorporates the oft-forgotten 'Preußenlied' into the beat. Also, with Bismarck, Roon, Moltke, Wilhelm I and Kronprinz Friedrich... That's one saturated picture!
If only Friedrich had lived... what a Kaiser he could have been. Instead we got Willhelm the mediocre.

It is a painting by Emil Hünten from 1866. It shows the gratulation of Kronprinz Friedrich to his father after the victorious battle of Königgrätz. The troops carry a captured austrian flag.

Die Östereicher, die Russen, die Engländer haben mehr Kriege geführt als Preußen. Ganz zu schweigen von den Franzosen, die damals ganz Europa besetzten. Seltsam darüber spricht man kaum....aus Scham weil es schief ging oder weil die Europäer das vergessen sollen und nur den Deutschen als Gefahr wahrnehmen sollen. Heute ist der Russe der "Nazi" . @@fuzzi01 Who says that the Kingdom of Prussia is abolished. The Allied Control Council wanted to dissolve Prussia in 1947. They had to take back the "dissolution" in 1950!
